"warm"up the plastic and the knife blade and trim it about an inch from the line you have drawn and repeat the process until you slow trim it to the line you have drawn. i hacked them off mine with a sawzall and then trimmed them down like i said ..... and i would have never used the sawzal if i would have known how easy the other way is . oh i have pics in the image section under "cut them off" .......... ps dont do this in the living room your gf will get pissed! lokisbuddy Posted February 20, 2009 Report Share Posted February 20, 2009 I use either a jigsaw, a bandsaw, a die grinder or shee metal snips, then I finish it with my dewalt grinder then I run a buffer over it, havent done my banshee yet but I did the blasty. I have used EVERYTHING from a sawzall, to razor knife to cutoff wheel.. Jig with medium blade did the best job and most user friendly.. Mjv420 Posted February 21, 2009 Report Share Posted February 21, 2009 I would say definitely a jigsaw, I tried using a high RPM rotary tool because it was all I had at the time on a set of junk plastics and you just dont have the control you need.
