Whats the tool of choice for cutting plastic?

use a propane torch and a new carpet knife. "warm"up the plastic and the knife blade and trim it about an inch from the line you have drawn and repeat the process until you slow trim it to the line you have drawn. i hacked them off mine with a sawzall and then trimmed them down like i said ..... and i would have never used the sawzal if i would have known how easy the other way is . oh i have pics in the image section under "cut them off" ..........

ps dont do this in the living room your gf will get pissed!

I perfer either a chainsaw or lawn mower....

 

lol i mask mine off with duct tape. dray my lines then use a razor blade, clean the edges with 2000 grit and buff it up. when using the blade you have to be careful to go a lil at a time. if you try to go too deap and you slip.... it sucks

i used a jig saw with a medium tooth blade.....worked perfect for me

DING DING DING, that is the best setup I have found.. I have used EVERYTHING from a sawzall, to razor knife to cutoff wheel.. Jig with medium blade did the best job and most user friendly..
