The place that i ride is carolina adventure world, they have 4 motocross tracks and 100 miles of trails. If it rains, there is alot of mud on the trails, and alot of the trails are rutted out hill climbs and muddy creek crossings. I love riding on the track, but the hole shots i have arent the best for shooting up hills. My question is this I have a bunch of marriott points from a hotel and i can redeem them for cabelas gift cards, on cabelas.com there are a set of tires, the super swamper tsl atv tire, here is the link with a picture. http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas/en/template...&hasJS=true if i was to purchase these tires, could i still sling my banshee around turns and do powerslides on dirt roads or would the side grip too hard and flip me?, i think the correct term is "lateral traction" and also i know they wouldnt be a great tire for the motocross track, but would they be an awful tire, ill probably be on the trails a little more than on the moto track. locogato11283 Posted February 9, 2009 Report Share Posted February 9, 2009 those tires arent gonna do you any good. holeshots and razrs have a tendency to dig holes once in the soft stuff. i found that they also wear faster if you do any type of road riding. i highly recommend kenda knarly's or stock yfz450 tires. they are both lightweight, durable and reasonably priced. they both hook hard in a wide range of terrain. i have run almost every dirt tire there is, and these two came out on top. i am going to give these a shot next, and im sure they will be good tires as well. http://farmandsandtoys.com/partdetail.asp?partid=174 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You'll kick yourself in you ass if you do. There for like... mud... deep wet mud..... for 4X4 quads. You dont want them. And just becasue they look cool dosnt mean shit. Yeah I dont want wierd ass looking tires either but those ugly as fuck imo. And I bet they weigh alot too. Sell the gift cards for like 150 or somthing and get tires from RMATV or Dennis Kirk.
