twizted269 Posted January 31, 2009 Report Posted January 31, 2009 which one is best to use? want best protection Quote
05.Banshee.SE Posted January 31, 2009 Report Posted January 31, 2009 Nylon, 100% RIPPEN Agreed. The billet one can transfer the impact. Quote
98_shee Posted January 31, 2009 Report Posted January 31, 2009 Nylon. Billet can crack your cases. Quote
dragbanshee Posted January 31, 2009 Report Posted January 31, 2009 That one doesn't look bad Speedy, but I think I would go with the T.M. Design, looks like much more protection. One other thing, you can go up one on the sprocket with the T.M. Quote
twizted269 Posted January 31, 2009 Author Report Posted January 31, 2009 thanks guys. was leary on the billet for the same reason. Quote
2001Stroker Posted January 31, 2009 Report Posted January 31, 2009 This is the one that you want. TM Design. It rests up against the case, and gives you the most protection. http://www.tmdesignworks.com/xcart/custome...cat=&page=1 Quote
gregrob Posted January 31, 2009 Report Posted January 31, 2009 I've seen BOTH kinds break cases. I had the modquad thick billet one and it bent like a straw and punched through my cases. Bigred has the plastic on and it didn't save his either. That being said I think the TM Designworks UHMW piece is the best, and will prevent a break MOST of the time. I'll never put billet pos on another engine. Quote
locogato11283 Posted January 31, 2009 Report Posted January 31, 2009 i would recommend running the biggest sprocket you can on front as this will help to keep the chain from getting balled up. even if you have to change your rear sprocket, i think itd be a good idea. Quote
boneyardbanshee. Posted January 31, 2009 Report Posted January 31, 2009 get UHMW http://cgi.ebay.com/Yamaha-Banshee-Case-Sa...%3A1%7C294%3A50 agreed but this one is better UHMW Case Saver Quote
twizted269 Posted January 31, 2009 Author Report Posted January 31, 2009 agreed but this one is better UHMW Case Saver i was looking at this one and another on there for 20 that looks like it rests against the case for support. Quote
