Steel sprockets that last

im calling bullshit.. so youre telling me that you bought steel sprockets, and the teeth bent after one day of riding? i dont believe it.

i run a 10mm cub motor and ive been running steel primary drive sprockets for the rear of it for a long time. ive never come close to bending the teeth on a sprocket.

i have about 4 of those things in every size they come. ive run them all. they all look fine and i dont even replace my chain regularly.

post some pictures up of your sprocket and what brand was it?

its not bs. ive had the same prob. went through 2 steels in 1 summer. Believe it or not the best luck I had was with the stock sprocket but now I run cascade JTs. Tried a renthal from RMATV and it didnt seem to do any better then the JT and it was twice as much

Maybe the sprocket that wore out in that day was just made from a shit

grade steel, and/or not heat treated properly. I guarantee that if they made

it from a mild grade steel with no heat treating it would wear out that fast.

I have seen things wear out that just dont make any sense other than

just plain piss poor manufacturing.
