banshee question

hey guys im looking at getting a banshee and i do mostly trail riding sometimes going 2 hours away from camp. I've been told that they drink fuel. some saying after 30 minutes of riding got to refill.I ride pretty hard and and wide open so what how long would a full tank last? only mods i would have is pipes and air filters and proper jets.Thanks

I wouldnt use that much fuel in a half and hour. Prolly some 4 poke owner who told you that right? You can ride pretty hard and a tank of gas will last a couple hours.

Not sure how long you can get out of a stock tank with a stock motor. I get around 1.5 - 2 hours of hard riding out of a stock tank with an agressive dune ported 4 mill with 35mm carbs.

you will get alot longer than 1/2 hr of riding.

i would say more like 3 hrs. esp in trails because you really never get a long enough wide open trail to run her in sixth.

you can always get a bigger tank and a six pack rack on the back with a spare tank.

 

Then you can ride all day long no problems

I do alot of woods and trail riding. Most of the time, i can blaze for nearly 1/2 the day....minus the smoke breaks lol! ( Through my experience, if you roll yer 'Shee with a six-pack rack, your sub-frame is done for. Used mine for two rides and took it off. I know..."don't roll yer 'Shee", right?! If your not pushin' it, your not RIDIN'!!..... :cool: :cool: )

i can get about 4 hours of hard riding with basic bolt on's.

It will use alot more than your buddies 4strokes, so don't let them decide how far out from camp you go! Also, ride with the fuel on, not on reserve. Made that mistake once and had to wait on someone to bring me fuel.

make them carry your fueln for you. those four pokes are no fun anyways
