Not quite sure

I am still a little unclear as to what the shift star mod does. i have looked around on here and i still don't quite understand. can anyone shed some light on this for me. maybe dumb it down a little.

Banshee's tend to be hard to shift especially if you are trying to shift under any load. The shify star has really high lobes on it and when you modify it you round the lobes off a little it just makes it a lot easier to get it into gear.

Makes it easy to get to neutral also.

just grind the lobes down a bit so they look like ) instead of >. thats about it. makes it smoother for the roller to go over to the next gear.

I run the modded shift star from cascade AND the shift pro kit from Tudors. When working together it's a night and day difference. :cool:

Just a heads up... Leave the edges on the neutral cog somewhat sharp (like the pic) or neutral is hard to find :cool:
