vegas banshee Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 a buddy of mine has a stock shee and pretty soon he will be lookin for pipes and i say por circuits like i have since i was very happy with them..or the dmc 2 into 1 thingy is kinda nice ..but i was wonderin how cpi pipes are on a stock shee? Quote
Handyman Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 if he doesn't plan on going to bigger motor I'd stick with the Pro Circuits for the better overall performance they give... the CPI's are a top end pipe with not much of a low end....BUT they will work and are great pipes... Quote
Frogger Posted December 4, 2008 Report Posted December 4, 2008 CPI's are great pipes but so are all the others. Just depends on the type of riding you do. My first mods were CPI's and pod filters and I loved it. I'm just a duner so the set up worked well for me. Quote
jbooker82 Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 I woudl get Pro Circuits or T5's if he doesnt plan on getting it ported. CPI's are a drag pipe and they dont work as well as t5 or PC's with stock porting. Quote
PACIFIC NW BANSHEE Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 Great top end pipes .But they are made poorly chrome plating sucks small pin hole in the welds all in all just a poorly made pipe save your money and buy some t5s Quote

They get there cpi pipes bare and have there chrome plater do the work. Quote
505chevelle Posted December 5, 2008 Report Posted December 5, 2008 Cpi's for sand and drag, or pro circuits for all around. Thats about it. I have had CPI's on mine since it was stock, and love them, but I like to ride dunes and drag some too. Friend of mine has FMF SST's and they seem to be a real good pipe also, I'm just not a fan of the toomey's.......I guess it all depends on what his future plans are for the bike... Quote
