what is normal compression for a stock banshee

i have 52 lbs of compression it seems low but i dont know

You need a top end rebuild REAL BAD!!

 

Minimum to make it run is about 90PSI

 

I think standard compression is like 135

Yes if your tester is reading correctly you need a re-build asap!

As Kevin Herr once told me, anything lower than 105, it is time to rebuild. Should be around 121 on a stock head. So your WAY below that. With it being that low, you should notice running issues. Have you had any? If not I would try a diff tester.

 

If you still need it, might as well send it off for port and rebuild like J.B said.

Make sure your doing it the right way. Hold the throttle all the way open and kick it over until the needle stops moving.

Thats really low like they said i think it should be like 120-125 stock. So try a defferent tester and if its the same get it rebuilt, like they said above if its apart you should get it ported, because you will want to sooner or later

yes has a hard time in mid range but once it gets going it runs good. idles great starts great

If you actually had 53 pis, you wouldnt be able to start it, and the bike would run like real shit. Anything below 90 your going to start to notie really quick.

 

Your doing something wrong or your comp testor is broekn.
