So i was looking at advancing my timing, and I was just kind of wondering the differencer between replacing the key and replacing the timing plate. For 20 dollars more you get the timing plate which is stronger more reliable and with both you have to pull the flywheel so is there and advantages to using a key?

Buy our plate on ebay. Set the timing at what you want, what works best (trial error). The key gives you one setting only and likely not the best one.

ok I was just wondering why in the heck anyone would chose a key over plate beings the reasons i listed it doesnt make sense so i didnt know if i was missing something but that answers my question

If you chose a 20 dollar key over a 35 dollar plate due to money then you should just sell your banshee now and be ahead in the money game.
