Here a Q for all you great banshee lovers. I own a 2005 Banshee, stock except for holes in the airbox and I think the timing may have been advanced, also it has smaller flat track tires on (20-11-9).

So I took it to sea-level about 6 months ago and there it ran great, but then I brough it back and since then it has had this audible pining noise coming from the gearbox I think, its is just opposite the rear brake lever?

It has been worrying me, also I feel like my banshee runs flat at high revs, and there is no real accellaration from a certain amount of revs?

Please any help will be great thanx

Sounds like the problem I had. It turned out my Crank Bearing (shifter side) was toast, which in turn ruined the Crank Seal causing an air leak and leaning out my left cylinder... Rebuild time...

do a search to do a plug chop. you were at sea level and it ran good now your higher elevation and its probably running to rich you probably need to jump your jetting up.

That's the weirdies thing i have ever heard of, I wood do like dsmrx7 said and check your bearing. Dose it look like that right cyl burns oil or something? and dose you oil level go down in your trans after a ride?

Like the other guys are saying, it sounds like a jetting issue. Something you'll need to know it the elevation differences between where you ran at sea level and where you're at now. I would pull the side cover off and see for sure if your timing is advanced.
