SCEADU Posted September 5, 2008 Report Posted September 5, 2008 You can pick up a small tire machine at Northern tool for about $40. How big was the hole? couldn't you plug it? Quote
LiftdT4R Posted September 5, 2008 Report Posted September 5, 2008 how'd you get it? I could never get those broke driving on them. Only ever got it to work with a truck. Set it up so you run over as close to the rim as possible, but you dont want to actually run over the rim. SHould be easy with that beast you got. I was even able to do it easily with my Toyota with 30s. Trick is too, put down a blanket so you dont scrape up the rim on the asphalt if you miss it a little. Quote
shee4speed Posted September 5, 2008 Report Posted September 5, 2008 thats crazy I could never get them to break. I'm thinking of picking up one of those bead breakers from harbor freight. My buddy that works at a tire shop always hooks me up but I feal like I'm abusing him sometimes.LOL Quote

ban99 Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 a friend had one he made that fit under the nose jack on his toy hauler so as he jacked the trailer up it would put the full nose weight of the trailer onto the bead. worked great only down side is you needed to be hooked up to the truck. shee4speed Posted September 6, 2008 Report Posted September 6, 2008 thatsa good idea. I might try to fab something up on the hauler hitch now. Thanks! Quote
