  1. 2005 Yamaha Banshee SE. 5mil long rod 4mil stroke. Pretty much Brand new: XFR nerf bars, Fly handle bars, Ambush rear tires, Tether kill switch, (Brand new) No-Toil filter, K&N filter will also come with it with an outerwear. Bored .20 over. Full Skid Plates underneath for Cross country Racing or woods riding(The skid plates are almost brand new also, had them put on Christmas 2012.) . Aftermarket aluminum radiator. Extra set of OEM front uncut fenders.(with special edition graphics.). Mod quad cool head. Pingle high flow fuel valve. After market aluminum shifter. CPI Inframe pipes(NO dents, cracks, or welded places. Stamped from the inside out meaning that they are more rare then the CPI pipes made now.). Clean title. Placed 2nd (heat) and 4th (main) with an all stock suspension, no sway arm, and it was the riders first race ever. Very good, solid bike. Made 54 horsepower on the dyno at Sandtrax. $3750
  2. installed a set of brand new toomey t5s a few days ago and had it jetted nice and everything and it was working awesome and pullin hard, but today it was workin like crap from the second i had started it. it has trouble opening up unless i clutch it and in 5th and sixth gear i cant get it to open up at all. today was raining and pretty damp if that might make a difference. tried new plugs even though it was running on two cylinders. stock except for t5s, uni filter and no air box lid. never checked compression yet but was working 100% when i parked it.
  3. Ok guys i got an '05 Hybrid I built. New top end, head shaved, flywheel lightened, +5 timing advance, VForce3 reed system, Flotek ported, individual UNI POD filters, shift star mod, NGK B8EG plugs, FMF fattys and Power Core II silencers(pipes are cut and custom fit to remain in frame on the hybrid, they are now a mid range pipe instead of the normal low end fmf fatty) i run AV100LL mix 40:1 with Klotz super techniplate. my Main jets are 310 my needle is factory and set to factory position, and my pilot jet is 27.5. here is the problem. bike starts fine, first kick(most of the time without the choke) idles great comes off idle great it snaps. it pulls supe hard on the top end. the problem lies with the mid range.like i said idles fine comes off idle fine but when i ride in lower 3 gears the mid range is bad it hesitates and is erratic. i have tries all position on the needle and doesnt seem to change much if anything. i rode it aroung in the RPM range that it "acts up" for about 5 minutes and the plugs were kinda wet or oilly so i would assume rich, but i tried all the different needle positions and doesnt seem to work. like i said the pipes are custom so i imagined it would be finnicky to jet but dont know which way to go when it doesnt seem to change with the needle. could i need a different taper or design of needle? ive never messed with different needles before just change position. and help would be greatly appreciated.

  5. LOCATED IN SAN DIEGO, CA. 2004 Banshee pink slip in hand great and is very fast and most very reliable!. I built this bike less than a year ago and took it on three trips to glamis.Very reliable 4mil motor with cool head dune port, still runs on pump gas! Chromed out +2 front arms with works shocks and +6 swing arm. Smooth ride and handles great in the dunes. After market sprockets, HID sandrail lights with mount which is removeable, running off a battery. Maier plastics, FMF pipes, Billet high flow waterpump, new performance clutch, safety kill switch, recently tuned and serviced. Ostridge seat, powdercoated hubs, Two sets of rims comes with this bike nobbies and haulers.This Banshee needs nothing but a new home!!   11. I have a lot of parts to swap. I have a stock transmission (not in the picture) in good condition off a running bike. I also have everything pictured here. The stator wires are cut, but did come off a running bike (it was just wired like shit) there are 2 stock baskets, one looks brand new and the other has some grooving and a couple knicks in on some gear teeth, it rolled smooth though and was off a running bike. there are lots of parts as well as these cases that were from a running sealed bike. Has a pretty good chain whack on it. I will clean them up more before shipping. I have these CT dune ported cylinders as well as namura pistons and the stock crank. The only thing not pictured is some spots on the cylinders are repaired with heli coils, these all came off a running bike. I also have a set of boyesen reeds from the same running bike. I have a lot of smaller parts, two of each, and wont be needing both, so feel free to ask. I am not saying anything here is in awesome condition and if its not for you I don't really care to hear about it, its just stuff I wont need and it might help someone get back up and moving again before a trip or something someone could use for a cheap build project. I am looking for a GOOD set of +2+1 J arms and tie rods for my project. They would need to be for the 90s J arm banshees. Or I would be interested in an A arm conversion kit with +2+1 A arms. Not looking for anything with chrome. Heey guys I have 09 stock banshee this is the mods that I will be doing : 1-what should I get t5 pipes or cpi? , I am mostly in the dunes 2-K&N air filter 3-v-force reeds 4-radiator 40mm 5-cool head 6-adjustable timing plate +4 How many HP will come out of this mods ? Do I have to buy a flywheel puller and why ? Do you recommend me to buy a trail tech vapor ?
  13. my buddy just got the Athena big bore kit 392cc, alien 916 pipes, k@n w/ outerwears, Keihn PWK 28mm carbs running 100 octane, and we cannot figure out what size jets to use, he has 160 mains and 52 pilots and 3rd clip position in now. it barely idles and when you hit the throttle it kinda dies out. any suggestions would help out great thanks..
  14. HIPER CARBON FIBER CF1'S. BOUGHT THEM OFF OF A MEMBER HERE... DIDNT BOTHER TELLING ME THEY HAD NO VALVE STEMS, SO I BOUGHT SOME AND GOT THAT FIXED. AALSO DIDNT BOTHER TELLING ME THAT YOU HAVE TO MODIFY THEM TO MAKE THEM FIT. I JUST DONT HAVE TIME. THEY ARE BARLEY OFF MABEY A FOURTH OF AN INCH. THEY NEED DRILLED OUT. I PAID ALOT FOR THESE.. WILL ALSO GET MORE PICE OF EM. HAVE ALMOST BRAND NEW MAXXIS TIRES ON EM. 22-11-10. 5LOOKING FOR 530 SHIPPED, OR IM OBO.

Hey guys, Basically the story goes like this, i got this banshee a few weeks ago picked it up on the cheap and have since been working on it, im finding the bottom end on the thing to be quite weak, i have come to assume that it could probs use a top end rebuild as the compression on it aint too crash hot. What i was after was a bit more bottom end on it, currently im still running stock sprockets on it of 14/41 , i was wondering wether the top end rebuild would be enough of an increase on the bottom end or should i also drop the sprocket size down to something like 12/44 to give me alot more bottom end, as my plans where to use this as a hill climb bike? Or alternitivly if anyone has any other suggestions i can do to give me a bit more bottom end or all round power on the thing would be muchly appreciated, ill list the specs of my bike currently below.   17. not included: brake line, caliper, master, front hubs and wheels, levers, carrier, kill switch or cdi. will sell all, have a rad plastics and drag seat can include also. shoot me a PM. swinger is a +6. bar uses 6 heims joints, very easy to ride for a stock frame, pretty light. t bars, subframe, struts all 4130 .058 chromoly. has been 4.10 at 80 on sand and 6.0 at 100 on 500' dirt. only selling because i am upgrading the chassis. might part out if i get enough interest. $800 for whats listed.
