The kit is a complete top end.You may be able to add a 4mm crank later on if the porting on the 400cc set wasnt to extreme to begin with.Both the 421cc and 485cc kits use 4mm stroker cranks the 421 uses 68mm pistons the 485 uses 73mm pistons.As for the carbs it depends on what you intend to do with this engine.

Nope, I actually sold the jugs and pistons to a friend of mine afterwards and he ran them for another summer without any probs.

I disagree there shouldnt be any "Premium members" forums, the HQ has always been for everyone and beleive it should remain this way.Allowing paying members certain benefits is one thing but it shouldnt go as far as to create Premium forums.

I ran a set a few summers ago and thought they were worth the $$$, Id say if you need a new set of pistons and cant afford to have your jugs ported they are a nice alternative to a mild port job.

I have tried quite a few different engine set ups and will only say this, Cheetah cylinders are awsome.

I am no metalurgist but stock cylinders are definitely made of aluminum, Cottoneyedjoe could probably chime in and tell us more.Stan where are you???

Actually I am stepping down on the stroke and could take a "good" +4 crank in exchange...I dont need that big an engine anymore this is why I am selling and since I never ran it on the dyno I wont speculate on how much HP its putting out.

I would have to disagree, the HQ is a great place where to buy and sell stuff.I have sold and bought alot of parts here and never had a single problem with anyone.I have had one bad online deal (on another ATV site) and I guess it was partly my fault as I sent the parts before having the money order in my hands, I thought I could trust this person.My mistake I obviously couldnt, you gotta pay to learn they say... And lets be honest here, YamahaBansheerider from his first to his last post has always sounded like a freakin idiot.
