I just purchased the alba rear set-up which comes with elka rear shock, swingarm, rear brake line (briaded) axle carrier, and lonestar axle now my question is this the guy who sold me the stuff said that i do not use the linkage setup which i guess is the shock likage the little u shaped dogbone. So does that mean that i just bolt the rear shock to the top shock mount on the frame and then the bottom rate to the swingarm and i completly eliminate the linkage and bolt nothing up[ there cuase that's what he told me he said that i only need the linkage if i was heavier but i'm only 145. so is that how it works anyone ever use this swingarm

I HAVE A 404 BIGBORE PORTED AND A BUNCH OF OTHER GOODIES AND IT FLAT OUT RIPS AND A SHITLOAD MORE OF LOW END YOU COULD BE IN 3RD GEAR GOING 1ST GEAR SPEED AND NAIL AND IT WILL TAKE OFF LIKE YOUR IN 1ST GRANTED I ONLY WIEGH A BUCK FORTY. SO I THOUGHT IT WAS WORTH IT.

WHEN THE BIKE GETS WARM IT STARTS BURNING COOLANT LIKE A MOTHER AND IF SLOW DOWN WHILE UR RIDING AND SIT AND IDLE U COULD SMOKE OUT 2 ACRES I REPLACED THE O-RINGS IN THE COOLHEAD THINKING IT WAS THAT AND IT'S STILL BURNING IT AND I KNOW IT'S COOLANT CUASE I COULD SMELL IT AND WHEN U TAKE OFF THE RADIATOR CAP U CAN'T SEE ANY COOLANT MAYBE 1 OF THE O-RINGS SLIPED OFF THE DOMES IDK MAYBE THE COOLHEAD HAS A CRACK IN I IDK ANY HELP WOULD BE GREAT I'M ABOUT TO JUST GET A NOSS HEAD AND SEE IF IT STILL HAPPENS. HEy JT i just booked plane tickets it is the following feb14th JFK leaving at 7:50am arriving in San Diego at 11:10am-------Departure on Feb21st at 10:10pm and arrive at JFK at 6:00am the following morning. So my crew is all set there were only 2 flights on jetblue for the 14th one at 7:50am or the next at 5:10pm which means we wouldn't land there till about 8:00pm and driving 2 hours, so the morning flight was the best option and for the flight coming home it was either we left at 12:10 in the morning or what i picked 10 at night cause other wise we have all that bullshit rushing that morning i figured it was better two leave at night. are they big bore pipes cause i got the 404 and ported and some other goodies to and i have the t5's for about 9 months they have blueing by the head of the pipes and on the side of the pipes where your leg is i kinda burned my pants onto the pipes but nothing a brilow pad coudn't get out i do it all the time and there full chrome pipes& silencers, let me know if u want to work something out and i try to get u some pics if i could. thanks dominick

hey i'm interested in the bike i'm actually go through a whole make over i was going to do the janssen outlaw-2 kit with the long travel a-arms shocks (elka-long) brakelines, rear outlaw +2 swingarm, carrier, axle, and then 90 to 100 hp for the engine. i do all types of riding but mostlywideopen sand riding also track but mostly WOT whoop sand roads. so i'm spending roughly 4000-5000 why not just get another bike. there's also 1 other complication i'm in New Jersey so i guess it's really not practical. are those long travel arms and swingarm and would it be good for the type of riding i do? thanks sorry for the novel i'm just interested it's a really sick bike i'll you now soon.
