on the works, you need to compress the spring then adjust it by the clips that are on the top of the collar on the spring, if your not sure if they will work for you, take them to a place that services shocks and have them set it up the right way, well worth the extra money to do this and they can adjust the pre load while there doing it.

just suck it up and go to the dealer everyone i know replaced it with a factory og one and it seems to be fine, just going to the dealer that sucks. im not sure of the thickness, i lost it when the good oll pc took a shit but i did have it mic'd but the stocker will do just fine. just be sure to replace it, seen a re-use blow coolant everywhere.

id say put the lined side on the motor, just for the hell of it. if theres no groves or anything it it and both sides are flat, then it really wont matter.

you can go 2 wider per side or 3 wider per side, with 1 forward. and yes you will need new shocks to compinsate for the added leverage.

you could advance your timing, port your reed cages, have the motor ported, get a -2 swing arm (this really adds power) and do all sorts of little things that add up. do a search on here and you will find tons of cheap mods that make it go. later

if you cant get the ptr's go with the sst's i have great all around power with mine, no complaints here !

pick whatever color you like and go have it powder coated. paint will look good a few times out but will show wear real quick. imo. a powder coated anodized red would look sweet with your cases and chrome. then get some chrome a arms and swing arm then youll be pimpin !

to mount it your going to need a whip mount, they range anywhere fron 5 bucks up to i think i seen one for like 70 bucks. you can get the quick release one also. most whips come with a pole, flag, and mount and range from 15 bucke complete to whatever godly amount you want to spend on it. if you know where your going, check it out on the web. they usually have regulations on how high the flag needs to be. i personally dont have a badass flag and mount, just a 15 dollar cheap o from cycle gear, the flag is orange and it keeps me legal so thats all that matters. you can go custom and have a personal flag made if you like, just like the banshee, the possibilities are endless.
