  5. dose it seem like it is hitting on both cylinders at idle or only when you rev it up ? have you done a compression check on both cyl's and how are your reeds ? it could be something simple like the jettings off or get more serious, at idle you also mentioned in another post it dies when you gas it. try to get it jetted correctly and go from there. also mentioned, you messed with the air screws, are they both the same adjustment ? mine ran like crap at idle and on the gas and it turned out to be the reed was shot.
  6. put the clip back to stock, and try a 27.5 pilot like spoin mentioned and a 290 main. another thing, whats the sea level where you live ?
  7. just take your stock filter and throw it in the trash. its easier to remove the airbox to drill it for the bolts while its out then to do it while its in the frame. once you get it out, clean the box real good, place the adapter plat all the way down in the stock filter mounts. (the piece will set in there at the bottom) mark the holes, drill them, and before you bolt it in, put some bel ray water proof grease around the big o ring that seals it off. as far as your jetting, are you running a lid on the box, 1/4 of the lid cut, no lid ??? that will be where you need to figure out what your doing so you can get the jetting as close to where it needs to be, after that its all a few rejetting secions to get it dialed in. look for a post by benbb for the complete guide on jetting and youll be good to go. later
  8. get the dremel out ok dont do that !!! all the cases ive split came apart rather easy with the help of a small mallet and soft blows. are you sure you have all the screws out ?? go over it 50 more times, you shouldnt have to beat the crap out of it to get it split, unless the person that split them before used some jb weld as sealer.
  9. i switched out my boysen reeds for the fmf carbon fiber ones and they seem to be holding their own. crisp throttle, no known flutter on top eighter, but like rod said above and the guy at fmf, they will not last as long
  10. obviously we have a drag section and a mx section, they get used alot !!! what other topic should we ask lee to change the gravity games section to ???? i think what you ride will determine it most. what would you guys like to see and post in ?

  13. lights.... www.rickystator.com tires... its best to look around and find the best deal the sizes are front 22-7-5 and the rears are 20-11-10 holeshot xc's they have a new size thats 23 fronts and 21 or 22 rears that would be a better deal. in the desert ground clearance is your best friend. later

  15. it just depends, if you could break down the shee and put a price on every little part your selling, try to figure out how much its going to be, also figure in the time to strip it, box it up and run back and forth to the shipping place, getting shipping price quotes and all that jazz, then you might be able to make a little more on it, but it is a p.i.t.a. sometimes its just easier to sell the whole damn thing. post some pics up, mabey someone here will buy it.

  23. got a chance to drive the savage and the t maxx 2.5 and i was happy with the t maxx. the savage was cool but the t maxx seemed to be alot more fun, and cheaper. i was pondering going the savage with the reverse,,,,bla,bla,bla but ended up with a green t maxx, a gallon of fuel, a fail safe and some batteries and was like a little kid i allready cut the body lines to my liking, added a few things, removed a few things !! and next im looking at those shocks with the ressis on them. i guess i should start it first huh

ITS AN 01, BOUGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF 02, ONLY MODS ARE THE THE BANSHEE BAR CLAMP IN CHROME AND I TOOK THE BIG PLASTIC THING OFF THE BARS AND INTERGRATED THE NEUTRAL AND REVERSE LIGHT INTO THE HEADLIGHTS AND A PROFLOW AIRBOX FLANGE WITH A UNI FOAM FILTER. OTHER THEN THAT ITS STOCK AS COULD BE.
