hit it up man, is it a yellow one ? where you located at ?

i got mine all tucked and lean. went to mckenzies offroad and bought some sand rail resi clamps, 40.00 bucks vs the 80 to 100 the shock companys want and mounted it on the down tube of the frame in front of the radiator. cans sit in the air duct and it helps them stay cool.

thers a hell of alot more info in building a desert shee that i left out but pm me and well get it all worked out. later

ohh hell yeah we can do this !!! first, where do you live ? depending on where, you can sometimes find the specs and classifacations in a score rule book. in cali. m.d.r. series races are the ones to be in, less money to put out then a score series and the mdr people are cool as all hell. like i said though it depends on where you live. poker runs are a great way to get in some much needed practice being you race for a time, not a position. up in calico ghost town they have runs all the time. eventually when i get the time im going to start training again and do a few barstow to vegas races for the hell of it ! as far as parts, you can run a stocker if you wish but a long travel front end is the key to going faster. suspension is your best friend in the desert so thats where all the focus goes into. depending on if you inter a score race or a mdr race will determine what all you can run, i know i did a firecracker 250 and they didnt even require a tether kill switch, but get one anyway and use it. desert terrain can throw some nasty stuff at you unexpectingly, so be ready. your going to need a big gas tank and a few hommies to chase for you and a few to have at the pits to help out. nerf bars are good, but not required by some organizations, but still good to have going 6th pinned not knowing where the next bump might throw you. a good bend handle bar and a strong as hell stem helps in a roll over, you might go as far as gusseting the crap out of your frame, this helps alot in strength and reliability on the frame. full under frame protection is a must. suspension on quads is unlimited in most series but the motor is what will put you into a classification. consider that too, the big boys dont play there quads hall ass ! the 2 strokes have the advantage in the wide open straightaways but the 4 strokes have the jump on the slow technical stuff, so mastering the 2 stroke in that section takes practice. when do you plan on doing this ? and again, where do you live ? ill help you get that thing desert ready in no time, the bills on you i lost all my pics of the desert racers ive built and have worked on and prepped but im doing another one in a month or so, ill get pics of it if its not to late. heres a few pics of mine i had hosted. later thats all i have left for pics of over 40 desert banshees i hate computers

just wondering if anyone else here was into photography as much as i am. what kind of cameras are you using ? i just bought a sony dsc-f828 to add to my collection and cant wait to get it clicking ! i love digital pics, cameras and all that good stuff. its cool to take hundreds of pics and not have to worry about film and all that other crap. but at the same thought nothing beats that old school method of taking pics and developing them, hell i dont miss it so let me know what you guys are snapping pics with, id like to know. later

evil replied to Southside Motorsports's topic in Drag Forum

im eighter hittin the road on the 3rd at night or real early in the morning on the 4th, just depends on who calls me and wants to get in on the so bay convoy, if no one calls then ill be there, if the friends call, ill be there with about 30 people rollin deep. im looking into getting an rv, but if that falls through im tenting it hobo style. whatever the situation, ill be there, im looking at the calender like the lady in the mervyns comercial (open open open !) stan, i dont want to hear no crap, your going. thats final, ok forget about the pegs, now you have less work
-
where the hell are they and what are they all about. ive heard stories of some sweet spots in az. so if you ride there, tell here !
-
ok, seeing now that this thing is going to take anywhere from 3 to 4 weeks to get going, should i make it a 2004 or a 2005 ? 8x10 or the smaller ones ? you guys are the ones i want to make it for so shoot me some ideas. thanks

another thing, the damn edit buttons broke, but try to stay loose, dont give the bars a death grip, keep a desent grip to maintain control but if you squeez the bars to hard you tend to tighten up and its killer on your arms.

ARE THERE ANY DATES YET ?? I DIDNT START THE CONTEST SO I CANT SET THEM...SO WHENS IT GONNA BE ???
-
ok guys, im trying to get a poll or a comen interest in people wanting a banshee hq callender featuring scantly clad women and banshees. not all the shiny show bikes but the ones that get ridden every sunday. and some hotties to boot ! my original idea was to make a calender for the winner of the photo contest and a few for the supporters of banshee hq, problem is.... i dont want to loose 6 grand if noones interested in buying one, cost for each calender is going to be in the 12.00 to 18.00 range for each calender, shipping included. depending on the printing people. thats not a final price as of yet though, id like to try and get them for as cheap as possible, but with the best quality. so sign up here if your interested, or if you think its a bad idea. i have no problem with droping the cash but dont want to get stuck, that could be my drag banshee motor thanks. later
