sounds like you have it covered man, as far as the sticker thing, if your an outer stater, just bring your registration or something that proves its your quad. a hand held gps wouldnt hurt. warm clothes for the nights, comfortable riding gear for the dunes, a windbreaker. all the stuff on your list is what i usually bring too. youll need spark aresters also. fire wood is a must for nights, just dont bring pallets, nails suck ! if your drinking, no glass bottles, cans only. just remember on big weekends they police the hell out of the riding areas so dont get to crazy and have fun. later

stan told me this is what he would do.... set down bong get a screwdriver, a bick lighter and a pair of needle nose vice grips heat the tip of the screwdriver and embed it into the plastic let it cool pick up bong go to screwdriver and see if it is tight enough to back it out pick up bong

tires=itp, maxis, kenda, anyone of the top manufactures wheels= itp, douglas, hypertech bearings=hollyman, timkin, anyone that manufactures them. you need to cut out the middleman and get with the manufactures for some really great deals. sure white bros is gonna give you a deal but if you went straight to the man youd benafit more. as far as motor work, do you mean taking a duncan midrange kit and installing it or full on port work and stroker rebuilds ?

the 250r in the desert is a top compitor out there, depending on how you ride and your skill level will determine between a 2 stroke and a 4. 4 is easier, 2 is faster. 4 is heavier, 2 is lighter. and dont forget the tec. stuff. easier on a 4 but funner on a 2 !

here a dumb thought but are you sure the arms are on the spindle the right way ? i had a guy bring me a quad with the upper arms under the spindle, ball joint facing up, he reamed them to fit and when i told him the situation 1.he felt like a dork 2. reamed his spindles for no reason and 3. felt like a dork. what year is your shee and how old are the arms ? that right there will tell you if your spindles need reaming, older arms yes, newer ones no. and like tats said, there meant to fit in there tight, but you should still be able to get at least half the nut on there and just tighten it down to seat it.

meat, i was thinking the same thing, pad the hell out of the recording device in a back pack then having a little lens on the helmet or even on the handlebars would be cool. what all would we need to try this ? where would i look to get it ? i know if i go into radio shack there gonna look at me like im stoned.

i haven talked to them in quite some time now, things been busy on both our ends. you can try mentioning banshee hq and he might hook you up a little, hes real cool like that. he knocked a little bit off my stuff being i bought so much stuff from him and sent him alot of business, but i wouldnt feel comfortable trying to get a discount off of him. but call up and ask for ricky and tell him the hq sent you there and im sure hell take care of you, hes a great guy and will stop what hes doing to answer any questions you have at the time. let me know how it works out. later

any quad you set up for drag racing is great. the only limit to your imagination is your wallet. you can make a lt 80 do 120. if you want a cheap fast as all hell drag atv. look into an old honda 250 three wheeler, ive seen some outright fast ones. any machine can be built to how ever you want it to and perform to do what ever you want. if its my opinion, id go with a banshee dragger or a 250r, banshee being first pick to drag. but i have witnessed some fast 250r's too.

the lights ran me close to 400 bucks, there 100watts each and you need to have the stator rewound or get one from ricky stator. well worth it in me eyes ! as far as pipes, it depends on what all you have done to your motor. i run the sst's with port work and the bike halls ass, but there are other bikes out there that are 2 times faster. ive seen a guy running cpi inframes once with porting along the the drag side but he had stock suspension, he ended up dnf'ing. as far as the motor, not off hand, check the forsale section, i might have seen someone selling a motor in there but everyone i know has the one in the shee and a spare just in case, so they wont want to part with them. other option is e bay.

front tires are holeshot xc's 22 in. most of what you find on a desert quad. when ever your ready hit me up, im willing to help. later oh yeah im in so bay.

i think thats where the the og one went to, where guys didnt want to buy a new lever and perch so i did one on cutting up the stocker and doing the ez pull mod on it, i have a stock perch somewhere so i might have to get another step by step going.

cool guys, im thinking more on the lines of a 16 month calender that will cover the last 4 months of 2004 and all of 2005 being this is not as easy as it sounds. ill keep it updated here on the progress and try to get it rolling asap. thank you for the interest in it, the more i get the more i want to make this happen now. but its all on the printers and all of the photo shoots, like i said i want it to be sweet. and most, if not all of the pics are hq members bikes. ill be shooting pics in glamis for presidents day as well as the roostfest in march along with about 10 other girls. meat ill get with you when it starts to near the finalization. thanks a million. as far as the girls go they will have clothes on, even if its barley any there goodies will be covered up, otherwise it would be clasified as porn, so im keeping it sexy but tastefull later
