1. Thats exactly what I did before I started making swingarms. I swapped to a 13/44 and I had like 1/2 link not enough adjustment. I hogged the slots a bit, pushed the carrier forward and I was set. It took about 1/4" or so
2. I deal with Chicago Rawhide products from time to time, and I've never seen these! I wish I could use them, but unfortunately when I get a shaft in that has worn areas, I either have to weld it up and remachine it, or make it all over again. Usually the latter. I'll have to keep these in mind for personal projects though.
3. When my dad had the truck I have now, we lined up in front of the shop. We only have about 200-feet TOTAL, so I typically make it to the top of 5th before I have to lock them up, or end up eating a diesel, or a chainlink fence. We lined up, and I hadn't raced on asphault before, so the first thing I noticed was that I was verticle. As soon as I stomped on the rear brake and killed my great launch I was able to catch and pass my dad in about 3rd gear, and he said I just walked away after that. We only got to around 50 mph though. I wish my local track would let ATV's on, but so far I think all they allow are snowmobiles. I saw that NHRA has ATV rules now. You can't have any other engine that what came with the atv, and there are a ton of other rules.....
4. what the fuck? Becareful. If they are that type of shop, I would not put it past them to fuck something up in retaliation to you complaining about their fucked up service. Sounds like the hire morons or maybe bums off the street to work in the shop. I would go over that thing with a fine tooth come before you even put it in your truck, and if you can, while they are busy working on it, go clean out their store front. I take a large Fox glove. Black/Grey if they got em.OOOO and some new Scotts. Black with the silicone on the band. Light tint, as I get motion sick at the dunes if they are very dark.
5. 14 is stock. LMFAO 282169 I don't think 14 was stock in all years was it? I am going to try my paddles backwards next time at florence, maybe I'll push a 100MPH 282304 I think the 87 and 88 might have had 13 stock in the front.
6. 14 is stock. LMFAO
7. Save your recepts. You might be able to take it back or trade it in on a Ford Lightning. congrats.
8. There's a few of them at St.Anthonys every now and again. Kawasaki Mach IV is the bike the engine came out of. Amazingly fast. And from what I've been told when I've inquired about those engines is the people that have them, "know what they have" and are typically in no hurry to sell it.
9. Yes he does build some quality stuff. I want something that my hand won't be slipping off the handlebars when I am racing at night. I like the RIS Designs one that has the lines over lines on them, my buddy has some of them. Do you realize how much we pay for parts these days? Think about $75 just for some hand grips. lol 281867 One thing to think about, is I put 25 1/2" holes in those grips,( about 3x that many on my Ultra Light Weight Grips) my hands never slip, and one good testament is Nyuk uses them on his drag bike. The holes allow your gloves to squeeze into them. I thought about making the waffle pattern grips, but people said they were worried that they would cut up their gloves pretty quick, and thats what I thought. I could knurl a set, but since some brands of fat bars have a larger left hand side (diametrical difference than the right of about .050) I have to rebore them for those bars. If I chuck up on a knurled surface, it smashes the knurls, rendering the useless. Too much hassle on my part.
10. Like you guys mentioned, I think it will go CRAP miles per hour++++ with those paddles on backwards.
11. You would believe correct. I have the standard set, and I have 2 sets of ultra light grips. They weight almost half of what my standard grips weigh.
12. A quick search turned this up. http://gamesradar.msn.co.uk/news/default.a...bsectionid=1585
13. don't forget the drool bucket. 281259 And the little foot ball helmet.
14. Are you building 2 wrecked Banshees from parts?
15. Have you called the parents? They might want to know whats been going on, and that its happened over state lines with a money order issued by the federal government. Thats a big fine and/or alot of years if its enough money. 281176 I am trying to find his # I have it somewhere from when I bought the wheels from him. I hope I can find it so I can call I would like to talk to them. 281246 I'm hoping you find it. And please, transcript the conversation here if you want. I'm sure there are several of us that would like to see what ultimately happens, and what we can do if/when we get screwed.

17. Judged by 12 is the 12 members of a jury. Carried by is is the 6 people that carry your coffin.
18. Yeah, but banners are fuckin expensive. lol...
19. I seriously doubt it would be to make the hq a pay site. Honestly that would be foolish and would more than likely kill the hq outright. If anything there could be a pay SECTION. The thing I've seen at a few sites around the net, was to pay a small fee, and there is a SECTION only accessed by paying members. The good thing is you wouldn't have any of the "hey guys trust me to sell this stuff to you cause i won't rip you off again because ive learned my lession if you don't believe me call my mom she'll tell you i eat all my broccolli and go to school every day even when i dont want to because i have spelling to do and math to learn and its fun but sometimes i miss the bus its so short its hard to see" shit that happens from time to time. The other advantage I've seen, is people that pay get more options like censoring, larger PM box ect, and the HQ for example (or any other site that does this) gets funding to help keep the doors open rather than relying soley on sponsorship and advertising, and random donations.
20. One of my local customers has done a couple 350sb swaps into CJ's. He just sold his last one, but I would bet he'll do it again. I saw a pimped out one at St. Anthonys a few years back They called it a ZJ28 and that thing hauled ass. Had a spooled diff, and some mean paddles hanging out the back.
21. HAHA Well, Cheryl, my brother in laws sister better get used to seeing it. I plan on buying alot more from Nyuk as cash permits for my project bike. I know I'll trust him enough to get parts without seeing them. Very few people you can do that with these days. He's even sent me some exhaust seals for free about 2 months ago. I needed a quick set for a project I'm still working on, and he sent them out. I know they are like a $2.00 item, but he still went out of his way to send them.
22. LMFAO A couple reasons why this is funny as hell... The first is I've had this box in my work area all day literally staring me in the face...never even noticed it. My dad didn't even notice it and he picked it up. I Would have loved to see the look on one of my local customers faces when I delivered some parts in it... hehe Second, my brother in laws sister works in the back of the post office, and she re routed this package from my shop, to my po box because its been raining, and she didn't think I wanted it to get wet. I can't wait to see her again. Nyuk, I'm sending missionaries to your house. lol Have plenty of sugar cookies and milk handy.
23. lol no..I"ll take a look at it. THere was a white wrapper over the whole thing.
24. As most of the seasoned HQ'ers know, Nyuk is a great guy to deal with. Straight and simple the guy doesn't sell junk, and he doesn't over charge. I bought a set of front hubs and spindles from him last week, and I didn't even ask for a picture. I knew they would be in good condition. I opened the box this morning, and there they were, in good condition. Not beat up, not bent, not broken. Plus, I got a deal on them, but when I saw how much it cost to ship them, I almost felt bad. I'm more or less putting this up for the lurkers, and the new members that might not know who Nyuk is. Honest would sum it up. THANKS NYUK!!!
