  7. if you can you need to ride both for a little bit. i think that youll find the yfz handles better, jumps better, and has quite a bit more power. the 450r is kinda tall, tippy and in my opinion down in the power department. the front end is very light which kinda makes jumping them a bitch. lets just say this, my buddy has a 450r. we ride trails, climb hills and mx. everytime we ride he says, " i shoulda bought a yfz". he has ridden ours and actually likes our better after 5 minutes of riding than he does his 450r. plus, who wants to kick the fuckin thing all the time? his doesnt start all that easily when cold thats for sure. my yfz sure fires right up tho with the push of a button...

  13. fuck the fighting id rather talk about these cheetah cub cylinders. sound good so far but tonight i heard that the dyno they were tested on reads way high. no idea if its true or false tho. still sound like thye are a pretty nice setup..

  16. its cool man. i believe you about the base gaskets cuz i have heard of people doing that. i think what most people here are trying to say is that you put alot of money into these engines and most people would rather spend a little more money for custom domes to make it hard to tell what the setup really is. i know myself would rather use cut domes than using more than one base gasket. i would think that if you wanted a different squish you could do it simply by having domes cut to match what you need. hey while im at it, do you know much about the cheetah cub cylinders? i hear they are using a long rod 4mm crank without cut domes or a spacer plate? was i correct in reading this? those cylinders look to be putting out some pretty insane power for a 4mm. id like to get my hands on them myself

  18. how much trails and how much dragging will you be doing? if you spend 95% in the trails and 5% dragging id go with a yfz450. good in the trails and quick in the drags. if you spend more time dragging than anything then go with the banshee. a banshee can be made to be a good woods machine, they just take some money and skills to get them to handle a little better.

  20. it will for sure be a whole different bike now. leave the 14 on for now and then if you feel its too high then go to 13..
  21. when i had the passion setup it used the spacer plate and just used a high temp sealant shit on either side so i can see using some type of sealer, but for the everyday average joe not looking to change port timing id say its best to just use a base gasket..
