  2. i just now read it again and it sounds like its way too lean. if you have to choke it to get it to run its not getting enough gas. screw the needle up a few turns and see if it will idle without the choke on..what do the numbers on the needle say? itll read something like 4-2 or 6-2..what do you have in there?

  4. how much you wanna bet?? ill bet you 5 grand right now that you are wrong...lectrons do not have jets... your lectron carb should have an idle on the side. dont try to adjust the idle with the needle. one turn on the needle makes a huge difference. does your carb have an adjustable power jet? on top of the carb is there a little knob you can turn?? should be right behind the throttle cable. thats for top end. for your bottom to mid range you use the needle. you need to get the needle in there and get it idling with the idle screw, then you can adjust the power jet...do you have a picture of your carb?? the idle should be a screw on the side...

  9. are you trying to run these on a non stroker engine? if so i seriously doubt it would work. cut stroker domes are cut to accept the extra stroke. if you throw those in a stock stroke i dont think youll have hardly any compression will you??
  10. i wont be using them till april. i cut every other row out of them for hillclimbing but i gaurantee you they will hook up. the tread pattern is far apart with big lugs. i wouldnt hesitate to buy them. im gonna buy them for my banshees when tney need regular tires..

  21. can i ask why? ive been running primary drive sprockets for years now. never any problems and they are fuckin cheap. rears are 15 bucks and fronts are 7 i think. how much are these sidewinders? i have a feeling that for the price of them i could replace my promary drives several times if needed for much less...
  22. what kinda trails? tight and technical or wide open? personally if all i did was trail riding id gear down to a 13. you could gear up to a 15 but youll prolly never get past 3rd gear. if you gear down to a 13 youll have a wider range of lower gears that youll be able to use more.
  23. that is the best way. you can shut off one cylinder so it doesnt consume so much fuel. then when you are ready to ride again turn it back on.
