uhh i dont think so. the carbs should already have their own idle. should be a black knob on the side of the carb. post a picture if you can. you shouldnt need anythng from your stock carbs to run these.

my bro had one. mains were between 320 and 340 depending on temperature. he had a 27.5 pilot in his and we have never put anything bigger than 27.5 in our bikes. might check and see if when you get it together if its loadin up while idling. if it is go to a smaller pilot. you are gonna love this port. its insane fast and got all kinds of low end and mid range power. if you like dragging you can also run a big front sprocket. that motor will have plenty to pull it. if you want even more out of it go to 33mm pwk carbs and its a whole other level.

33mm pwk or 35mm pwk. little more top end with the 35. both good carbs and easy to work on.

its worth it if you wanna see how much power you are making. might as well tune it some and get it running better. heres its about 100 bucks an hour to tune. theyll cut you a break if you are there for a while. most places ive gone to if you wanna rent for a whole day its about 400 bucks.

before you go cutting anything i would suggest first seeing if you are getting flow from your tank. if you are getting good flow theres no need to cut anything.
