Just save your money and buy some shocks meant for the Banshee. The YFZ shocks are too long for stock width arms.

It's the only comparison that would be valid. Otherwise, you have different builders doing different things to the motors and you still don't have any idea what pipe does what. Yea, I'll get right on that!

I am pretty sure I have read to only run one or the other and not to combine them.

I would hold out and buy a set of Keihin PWK. The PJs are an older carb and are a little harder to get tuned in right. I personally think Lectrons are junk and that messing with the needle is a pain. If you can't wait on a set of PWKs, I would go with the PJs.

UFC needs to pull their heads out of their asses. If they continue to put together cards like last night to show on Fox, people are going to quit watching. The the casual MMA fan here's their summary of last night's fights... 1. Maia/Wiedman - 15 minutes of dancing with the stars. 2. Sonnen/Bisping - Sloppy stand up with some wall and stall. 3. Evans/Phil - 25 minutes of nap time. The prelim fights last night were fucking awesome.

I don't doubt that they got more HP out of their set up with their own pipes. Why is that so hard to grasp? That is exactly why a direct comparison of the two can't happen unless it's on identical set ups. Porting can be changed to accommodate certain pipes. Why not take non-ported stock stroke, 4mm and 10mm Cubs and throw the pipes on them? You could also do stock port, stock stroke cylinders. That is really the only way to compare apples to apples.

I called this from the beginning. I knew there wouldn't be any dyno sheets to back up anything. He probably dynoed a stock coils against the Takai and found there was no difference. He probably didn't want to come on here and embarrass himself any further.

I still say the Shearer/Sniper comparison is ignorant. One pipe has been in testing for a year while the other has been in testing for many years, in many different motors, in many different parts of the world and in many different variations. I think you would be doing a lot better to compare Snipers to the original Rockets or R2's. They both got the same kind of hate when they came out for no reason other than it was a new pipe. You rarely see a used set for sale. There's two reasons for that. First, the people who run them like them a lot. Second, the quantities aren't out in the real world like CPI or Shearer. I would like to see comparisons for them all, but in order to do that fairly, they would have to all be tested on the same motors in the same day on the same dyno. For example, try all the pipes on a stock port motor. The next day a ported motor. The next day try them on a 4mm Cub. The next day try them on a 10mm Cub. That is the only way you could even possibly begin to compare them. Any motor can be set up to react better with a certain pipe. That's why they would have to be tested on the same set ups.
