No, it's too rich. The plug can be dry, but tan and dry is better. A motor that's too rich will run hot, which could explain why you think it's running hot. I'd lean it down to 280 main jets and check the plugs again.

It probably feels like it's running hot because it has been 80+ degrees in the midwest.
I believe they will hold up fine. We are launching them off huge jumps at 50MPH with no issues. I've bent a few but with the lifetime warranty, I got new ones no questions asked.

27.5 should be fine. This leads me to believe that something is plugged and not getting fuel.
