Snow on the dunes is the shizzle! Especially if there's like 5-6" or so, enough to drag a sled or sled down some dunes. It's been years since I've been to the dunes in the snow, I can remember when I was little we used to have a blast though, getting towed on a sled behind a good 'ol 200X atc...riding in the buggies...good times.

Ride in all different temps...never really screw with the jetting to be honest with ya.

LMAO That's funny, I don't care who ya'R... Personally, I don't think he ever had a chance...seemed to me it was obvious from the beginning he did it. What did they catch him with & where?...like 15grand(cash) in some remote location? That's a no-brainer right there...how do you explain that, was he selling drugs too? --I doubt it. Doesn't get better than wet sand IMHO...very nice hookup, especially with paddles. Gives me a chub just thinking about it. Powdery sand is cool too, but wet sand is the shizzle; won't fuck anything up. Rain sucks, but it does look like you guys are going to have a kickass weekend to ride with no rain, just wet sand...may be a little chilly, but that's cool too, hopefully the colder temps will keep the traffic down.

Good look'n bike. What did you give for it & where from? I'd love to get back into biking, I used to be real big into freestyle BMX, did a lot of flat-land shizzle. My body can't take what I used to put it through on when I was younger, I've been kicking around the idea of getting a good mountain bike, similar to yours(I'm partial to GT)...and get myself back into shape. But I don't have the money right now, nor will I anytime real soon, so I dunno. As far as suggestions...get out there & ride, get comfortable with the bike. Similar to when you 1st got your banshee, don't go out & hurt yourself thinking you're a better rider than what you are. Practice makes perfect.

Hope you guys have a weekend as nice for riding as we did. Upper 40's to lower 50's & nice, wet, packed sand...very little traffic. It was great riding during the day, but we didn't get to ride at all saturday night due to the frigg'n rain. Just sat under a tarp by the fire & drank until we were about to pass out...then made way to the tent. Had a good time though, as usual; it was definately awesome to be able to go out and really get down with our bad selves without having to watch every turn & dune top for other riders.

Doesn't seem to like my laser-mouse...just goes up at an angle until it crashes, let off, crashed down at an angle.

I was wondering the same thing. Guess it would be needed to navigate the internet?

They're good quads, I have no complaints about mine. They're great trail bikes & fun to play on. You can make them fast, if you don't mind spending money. Like all other 4strokes, bolt on mods don't exactly do as much for performance like on a two stroke. But, on an EX, with a filter & full exhaust,...you'd be amazed at the power difference over stock. They run good & are dependable quads, handle good, decent suspension...if I were you, I'd shoot for an 05 model for the reverse option. Here's my(her ) '01...

Have you determined the cause? I don't believe it would be anything in particular...granted, is kinda weird. Have you checked your intake boot on the left side, everything back to the carb? I dunno man...

That's been online for quite a while now...what gets me is all the people just standing around. Had I been there, I probably would have at least tried to chill the dude out...and dare him to swing that fucking skateboard at me, if he hit me with it, it better be a good one because I'd probably have half a mind to curb stomp his frigg'n head. I'm sorry boonman, but a skateboard to the fuckin head would hurt like an SOB, if I had a gun, I'd a warned the fucker...maybe shot his skateboard in two, then ask him if he'd like his face to be next. But no, I wouldn't shoot his ass, unless I felt like he was going to kill me. Looks good man, similar to mine. I used Dupont auto paint & had my buddy paint it with his gun(paints for Raytheon), color is called Starburst Fireball Metallic Red. It's supposed to have hardcore metallic in it but you can't really see it unless it's in sunlight. I'm happy with it, had the frame blasted & sealed, then primer sealed, couple coats of paint, couple coats of clear & its held up great...done pleanty pasture-blasting in the hay field & still no wear at all, not even throught he clearcoat.

What type of skids are those? DG?

Nor will they supply sufficient lubrication.

I'd love to man, but I'm broke as hell(that's an understatement), and the only reason I'm going is because it's a free ride down there and I got gas to burn up. Otherwise, it'll probably be next year before I make it down again.
