The CAT is the thing that looks like a muffler but it's a Catllitc convertor<spelling> an emishions device the law requires. I don't have Inspections so I can get away without the CAT. but you need to keep it. some people will remove the inside(gut it) and run it hollo so when they inspect it is there. thats what CAT back means, they cant tuch the CAT unless they are putting in a new one.

they do sell muffler kits like that but what about the CAT ? they can be very pricy if you cant use the old one. and muffler shops will not do anything in front of the CAT . so if you have a whelder or can find one to use, just buy new muff somewhere. then go to a muffler only shop(try and find an indepentet) and just buy the end (they have tubes bent to fit over the axle and out the side) with some straight pices to fill in the spaces. tell the guy what you are doing and he will sell you what you need and dont talk about the CAT. that will be the cheepest fix. or wheld new muff's on the back of the headers and call it good ?

them things are like gold around here. I got an 87 and I have had offers of 5000 and I said not for sale. the Suzuki LT's are a differint story. I have 2 LT500 and one LT250 that I am going through and making sure they are ready for sale. I will be lucky if I get 3000 for the 500's and 2000 for the 250. my friend bought them at auction and now he is asking me to fix what ever so they will sell. anyone interisted in a LT500 or LT250 ??????????????????????

it's a Banshee ! get usta it mine is the same way, try finding neutral b4 you stop. most aftermarket clutches and thicker and have more holding power and want to grab when at idle. just get it in neutral b4 you stop rolling. I'm just dealing with it until next time I am inside the motor.

I was doing a race 20 years ago. it was a trail/woods type race so you never know when there would be people standing on the side of the trail watching the racers go by. everything is going great no probloms, no crashes and then all of a sudden there was 2 (TWO) 18-20 year old girls showing there TITTY's to every racer going by, I mean no shirt at all. needless to say I crashed trying to rubber neck. and then second place crashed into me doing the same thing. this was back when the three wheelers where the bike to have. so our bikes got tangled up and it took us a little time pulling them apart. both of us where yanking on our bikes and trying to look at the tits at the same time. them two girls had a good old time that day ! ! ! !

Oakley are the best. I have the M-frame, just today bought a new lens. they have the iridium lens. I also have an old pair of "Fives" they are Polarized. the regular lens don't cut the glair from the windshield or water like the better lens. spend the money, just take care of them.

I have two noisy dogs, a good old man living next to me. and I live at the end of a dead end street, with no alliy. and none of my shit is locked up. last year I sold a bike and within 10 min I had 3 calls from people on my street telling me someone drove off with one of my bikes and needed to know if I wanted the licence plate ####.

I have twists on my two quads. and have no problom with throttle control. but I don't ride MX or anything but sand. but I do have an 85 250R three wheeler. and I removed the twist and put the thumb throttle back on. the 3 wheeler requires lots of body english and the twist made it a quite a bit harder to control the trottle. even at the dunes. so I can understand a twist would cause unwanted power when the bike is thrashing around under the rider. when they came out with the 3 wheelers I am sure they put a twist throttle on during testing but after a few riders had probloms controling the bike they invented the thumb throttle.

this is not true, I have shipped a 19 inch paddle tire through USPS with just a label taped in-between the paddles. no box at all. baybe you can just do this with tires, but I have done it more than once. Fed-ex ground is the cheepest way to ship large items.

UPS sucks bigtime try Fed-EX ground I have shipped huge items through Fed-EX ground that UPS would not even touch. I shipped items all over the world. the post office is the best for the small items, but for the big items like motorcycle frames I have found Fed-EX beats the shit out of UPS's prices and will ship the larger items that UPS will not. 50lbs frame boxed up and looked like a huge football from AZ to Ohio was like 40 bucks. the UPS people would not even try. that was the last time I was in the UPS office 2 years ago. AND: when I worked in a wherehouse shipping through UPS we had about 10 clames from UPS destroying our items we shipped and NEVER did they make good on the Ins. we paid on the item we shipped.

I have both bikes with just about the same mods, the Banshee is faster and the 250R handles better. it's just the way it is. and the Suzuki LT's are nothing but hand grenades. I have never seen one last very long.

I have been at Glamis every T-day for years but this year I will be passing up that weekend. I would rather go when it is not so bussy and the cops are not hassling everyone. maybe the week after T-day or over Christmass nobody it there that weekend. it all depends on money and work

I just got back from the dunes on some new sand stars on 10inch ITP 190 rims. and they are awsome, best V-shaped tire out there. lots of bite, I put a quarter on the paddle and the paddles are taller than the quarter. very happy with the Sand Stars. I paid 214.00 shipped from that pawn shop in Veges that sells on Ebay.

the route you take to Gordon's Well from PX go I-10 to Quartzsite then go south on 95 to Yuma. stay on the main road through Yuma until innerstate 8, then go west (right turn) on I-8. the Gordon Wells exit is about 18-20 miles from Yuma. exit the Gordon Well's off ramp and make a right then another right so you are heading back east. it's a nasty road then some dirt, at the dumsters it curvs left. follow that road to the bridge and go over the canal and you will see the paystations. pay your extorshion fees then follow my signs of paper plats marked BHQ. I will also have a four foot sign that will be staked in the sand facing the bridge at camp. when comming from Yuma on I-8 it will look like you have passed the dunes on the hwy but the Gordon's Well exit is the next one. I will post a pix of the sign I am making tomorrow. how does that sound ? I hope I didn't confuse anyone, sometimes I do that.
