after holding out as long as I can, I am faced with needing money real bad. and I am going to sell my Banshee and my XR250r. the xr I figure I can get maybe 1400 and hopefully 3500 for the banshee. I know there are a bunch of BHQ members that sell Ebay parts. so I am needing some knowledge on what I could get if I parted the Banshee out on Ebay ? thanks everyone

I have been using grease on my CR250R air filter for many years. this is a good idea and it works very well. never again have I sucked sand or dust in the motor. other than a riped air filter the mating surface is the only weekness. I was watching the factrory Kawasaki guys getting a KX500 ready for Ty Davis to do the Vages to Rino race in 97 and I obsurved them greasing the filter. that is where I picked up on the tip. but I don't grease my K&N that I clamp on the back of the carb.

I don't have a nick name, but does any one know what THX-1138 means ? I just use that for every place that needs a user name. but it does mean something. I have a free piston return spring for the first person that can tell everyone where I got it from. it goes way back in time. hint: it was in the movie "American Graffiti" but that is not where it's originally from.

I have two LT500's for sale. A friend asked me to fix the clutch in one and a water leak on the other. also asked me to put the word out on the web that they are for sale. one has a Trinity motor that is wicked fast, but it is lowerd and has some fabed up rear sub frame. but the thing simply halls ass. no probloms with the motor, and it has a PD cool head. the other has lots of chrome and polished parts. and I am putting a new clutch, pressure plate and bearing in. also he has a LT250 in very good shape. all quads have clear titles. and I will send pic if requsted. please PM me if anyone is interisted in any of them. I know what you are saying......... what does this have to do with Banshee's ? if I sell two of them he said he would buy me two brand new carbs for my banshee. I want to go back to 2 carbs and money is tight so I made him this deal.

most Quads are designed to be stood up on the grab bar after every use. there are holes in the frame at precise spots so any water collected inside the tubes while riding will drain out. the carbs will also drain the gas out and it's a good time to inspect the frame for cracks.
