WHAT? That doesn't make any sense. If the motor is spinning it forces the weights or arms to go farther out or away from each other. Which puts more pressure on the clutch causing it to grab harder reducing slip.

Are you shipping a complete bike? - Build a crate for it and ship it through a freight company.

I snapped a chain one day, and couldnt find a masterlink anywhere to save my life. Soooo I pulled the welder out and gave her a little zap zap. All was good and golden until it started rotating! Didnt cross my mind that i was welding something that was going to try and rotate. It worked though for about the first 14 inches!

I'm with J-Madd on this one as well. I think if you have the money for it you mind as well put it end. Because if you think about it, say the stock 2nd holds up all season, is it going to hold up next season? Where as you know with a billet its going to continue to hold up season after season. I personally see it as, a little more added pertection. Remember a chain is as only strong as its weakest link.

Im honestly thinking plug caps. Maybe I missed the part where you said you replaced plugs and plug wire caps, but to me thats what it sounds like. Just the fact that it keeps going after that RPM.. But before you throw parts at it throw these, and they are cheap.
