  1. i have heims on my bike, they are teflon lined to help keep dirt sand grime out they were a little bit more but a let better in the long run i just pressure wash them out everytime and spray wd-40 in there after each ride.....

WELL I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM MY BIEK HAS 75 PDS OF COMPRESSION WITH 18CC DOMES AND A NEW TOP END....IT TAKES ABOUT 5 KICKS TO START IT BUT IT RUNS SO WITH THAT LOW OF COMPRESSION IT WILL STILL RUN I THINK THAT MAYBE YOU SHOULD GET THE CYLINDERS CHECKED BY MAYBE A DIFFERENT MACHINE SHOP....5150BANSHEE (GOOD LOOKING BIKE BY THE WAY-MET YOU OUT AT PISMO THIS WEEKEND I WAS WITH THAT GUY THAT HAD THE CHEETAH) I THINK IT MIGHT BE THE BORE BECAUSE ALOT OF PEOPLE TALK ABOUT THE CRANK SEAL, THATS THE SAME THING I FIRST THOUGH, WELL I HAVE HEARD THAT IF YOU WANNA CHECK IT PULL YOUR STATOR COVER OFF AND LOOK AT THE STATOR IF IT HAS OIL ON IT THEN CRANK SEAL IS BAD BUT HEY WHO KNOWS RIGHT ALSO DO YOU HAVE MORE SMOKE ON ONE SIDE THAN THE OTHER????
  3. hdy if it makes you feel any better i just installed a new set of pistons in my bike and after thinking about it because my compression is also 75 pds. i never had it honed and this is my 3rd or 4th top end since i had it bored last so i think it might be time after this motor because its taking a couple more kicks to get her started...so by chance did you hone the cylinder or have it bored, if not maybe shes just getting tired maybe needing a good ole fashon'ed tune up.....
  4. ALRIGHT TO MAKE THIS EASIER ON EVERYONE WE ARE GOING TO NAME BIKES WITH ORANGE BIKE(MINE) AND WHITE BIKE(FRIENDS)... WHITE BIKE NOT RUNNING WELL ON RIGHT SIDE(PASSENGER SIDE) MORE SMOKE OUT EXHAUST THAN OTHER SIDE AND PUTTING HANDS ON BOTH PIPES OUT THE REAR RIGHT SIDE NOT HOT SO I TELL CHAD (WHITE BIKE OWNER) MAN I THINK SOMETHING IS DEF. WRONG (OBVIOUSLY)I THINK THAT YOU NEED A TOP END BEUCASE YOU NEVER PUT A TOP END IN THIS THING IN A WHILE SO WE TAKE THE PLUGS OUT AND TRY READING THE SIZE PISTONS THROUGH THE SPARK PLUG HOLE..RIGHT SIDE IS SO BUILT UP WITH CARBON CANT READ SO WE LOOK AT THE OTHER SIDE (LEFT) AND WE CAN READ IT FINE. NEW TOP END FINALLY ARRIVES PUT IT IN FIRE IT UP STILL SAME PROBLEM...I NOTICED THAT THE SPARK PLUG BOOTS WERE A LITTLE LOOSE ON THE WHITE BIKE SO I TAKE THE COIL OFF ORANGE BIKE STILL SAME PROBLEM CHANGED PLUGS FROM ORANGE BIKE WHICH IS RUNNING ::2ND STORY ORANGE BIKE WAS HAVING THE PROBLEM NOT RUNNING ON THE RIGHT SIDE PULLED INTAKE OFF AND PUT IT BACK ON THANKS TOO BIG-DUB (THANKS FOR THE HELP):: TRIED SAME THING ON WHITE BIKE BUT YET STILL SAME PROBLEM?? ANY IDEAS ON ANYTHING ELSE THAT I COULD BE BOTH BIKES HAVE ABOUT 75 PDS COMPRESSION ORANGE BIKE IS TRINITY STAGE 4 PORT JOB 34 PJ'S V-FORCE AND COOL HEAD WITH 18CC DOMES WHITE BIKE IS STAGE 4 TRINITY SINGLE CARB KIT 35 V FORCE WITH COOL HEAD AND 20CC DOMES I KNOW THAT THE COMPRESSION SHOULD BE HIGHER BUT DO YOU THINK THAT BOTH BIKES HAVE BLOWN CRANK SEALS BECAUSE COMPRESSION SO LOW EVEN THOUGH ORANGE BIKE RUNS FINE AND STARTS WITHIN 5-9 KICKS.....??????
  5. 2 different bikes 2 different set up either one not getting hot on the right(passenger) side....1st bike trinity stage 4 cool head 18cc domes 34pj's w/ vforce2 2nd bike same thing but has 2 into 1 carb kit on it but with 20cc domes...both bikes have new top ends...just put in this week, go to fire and neither bike will run on right side...change coil, plugs, got spark, sprayed carb spray on side of intake and got no rpm change so im ready to kick it down a hill.....got any ideas on what todo???
  6. I use to have a j-arm bike and recently converted to a-arms their +2 all hiemed steering and D.O.M tubing pm me and i will send you some pictures of what shee looks like....
  7. so i recently purchased some stock needs with seets and 330 mains i was wondering if anyone wants to buy them from me because i dont need them anymore went to bigger carbs brand new still in package i will pay shipping i payed 26.99 per needle and seet tell me what you are willing to pay and we can go from there.....
  8. So i have a banshee with a +4 swingarm im 300 pds. i recently just had it valved and a spring put on spring is the biggest from eibach that they make for my quad...now it sits 11 7/8 inch high from top of tire to bottom of fender i sit on it it goes to 7" is this too low or what can i do??
  9. so i also had this problem on my quad but then i tried switching the carbs left to right and so on and the problem moved to the other side come to cind out that it was a carb problem but thats just my 2 cents....
  10. how do i rebuild it because whats happening is that the slider is not sliding it was frozen so i had to drill it out.......yeah so it needs some rebuilding then
