the clutch works fine i can even ride it but it just wont shift up or down

had the chance to ride for a few hours yesterday and everything was going great then i let my cousin take it for a ride but when he was pulling up the drive he tried to down shift and its stuck in gear and wont shift up or down what do you guys think is the problem. thanks

any chance that the ball fell out when you took the pressure plate off? did you adjust the clutch using the nut in the center of the pressure plate and make sure that the clutch arm lines up with the arrow on the case.

your not over filling it your simply just adding a little more oil, i've been doing this since i bought my 2001 shee new and have never had a problem. it puts more oil onto your ball and push rod so they dont weld them selves together. i replaced my clutch the other day and the ball and push rod still look brand new.

just use 2 quarts, the extra oil will help prevent the ball from welding itself to the rod.

I have heard a lot of good from patriot and also hear alot of good about F.A.S.T racing port jobs.

whats the spring shift mod ?

if you installed everything correctly then maybe the noise that your hearing is just clutch chatter because with the aftermarket clutch you leave out the rubber o rings that the stock clutch has and the rubber o rings help keep the clutch chatter down.

i just bought my pro design impeller off of ebay for $59.95 + $5.00 shipping = $64.95 not to bad considering that rockymountainatv wants $79.00 for one and thats not including shipping.

i cant tell you what they compair to, but they were pretty big back in the mid to late eightys and early nineties. and were good quality with good power gains.

do you add it to both sides of the gsaket or just the side touching the engine

im putting in a new water pump impeller and need to know do i need to use any silicone on the gaskets on the water pump cover and clutch cover

yes you have to have the domes to install the head, be carefull what size domes you get because depending on your elevation you might have to run race gas. but you should be safe with 21cc domes.

im thinking about putting a new clutch in the shee since i have it tore apart replacing the stock water pump impeller with one from pro design. im looking at a tusk clutch from rocky mountain they are around $30.00. what do you guys know about the tusk clutches are they any good.

i want to replace the phillips head bolts on my clutch cover with allen bolts, can you guys tell me what size i need to ask for when i go to the hardware store so i dont look like a asshole by handing the clerk my old phillips and saying " here i need these in allen heads"
