  1. usually within 24 hours from my experience. last time i placed the order at like 9PM and had an email by 3PM the next day. You will get it, don't worry.
  2. your ebay kit definitely raises questions too but id start with a leak down test so you know which direction to go next. I have a set of stock reeds/ cages in good shape id ship ya if you want to rule those out. PM me if interested.
  3. I built this one for about $22 from lowes. Same specs Keno posted but i used 1-1/2” caps for pvc piping. Everything was found in the plumbing isle. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Sounds like you are confusing a leak down test from an automotive 4 stroke engine standpoint.. Leak down testing a 2 stroke identifies leaks that will pull in extra air and cause a lean condition. Doing a leakdown test on your engine will PROVE if/where air is leaking and actually identify or rule out the root cause of your issue. You could have a huge air leak and still have solid compression numbers yet still be affected by running issues from the air leak. you mentioned cheap top end, what exactly does that entail? is it an ebay kit? a used set of cylinders/ pistons bought off facebook? you should expand on that so we can help you out. As stated multiple times throughout the thread, definitely start with a leak down test so you can figure out which direction to go next. Much easier to spend $25 now and confirm that you do or dont have a leak before tearing it all apart and guessing, and then having the same issue and posting back here asking what to do next. help us help you.
  5. nice!! good to hear you got it figured out. Other than the quality issues on mine, they perform well and i have not had any physical issues affecting performance after 8 months and many weekends.
  6. Yea i like to strip the TORS/ parking brake junk to the splices and check the condition of the splice while I'm there. Bikerbill have you inspected those ground circuit splices when you were cleaning up the harness? usually underneath white electrical tape. Also might be something worth checking if you cant swap harnesses with your buddys. You could even run a loaded voltage drop test across each ground circuit to really rule out a ground issue since the frame point grounds are secure/clean.
  7. Feel free to use my pictures so they can make this right. Let them also know about the issue people are having with the right side tie rod hitting the lower arm at full droop/ full lock. There is another thread a few down in this section with pictures of that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Total on the alba uppers using 2 washers is about 8-1/2” to 8-5/8”. Lowers are 9-1/2”. Also measured an OEM upper and got 8-5/8” Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Measured my aba LT arms and got 8-1/4” upper and 9-1/2” bottom. On the uppers i measured from the outside of the rubber bushings and did not include the aluminum spacers (2) they use on each upper arm. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I know that you have been through the electrical side of the bike per the first post but are you using the stock kill switch? My bike had an intermittent bog issue when hot and i could induce it/ resolve it by playing with the kill switch connector near the radiator. Ended up fixing it by putting some dielectric grease on the pins and wrapping a ziptie around the connector to compress it. it would rev out when in neutral but any load on the bike and moderate throttle it would fall on its face due to a weak spark. Something quick/ easy to check before pulling it apart.
  11. All i really meant was i am not rolling in with a camper/ toy hauler. Last time we went to silver lake i slept in the back of my WRX hatch. This time i will likely sleep in a trailer or an expedition.
  12. Site 117 booked. LOL, might convince my buddy to bring his toy hauler but last time he showed up with a clapped out Polaris predator so IDK
  13. I want to make it out for this one. Have not stayed at the LSPS sites before but looks like i want to be at the spots numbered in the 100's? Currently they have 101-105, 112-117, ETC. available. Is this a good spot for a tent and to booze?
  14. you would need the boot sizes for stock carbs (26mm) which i assume you still have. This is the correct one with a crossover ( the tube that the boost bottle replaces). https://www.ebay.com/itm/Chariot-Banshee-Billet-Intakes-26-30-carb-Crossover-VForce-2-3-4/252750487963
  15. the spread between the lower A-arm. From the front tube to rear tube has a larger gap in between the lower shock mounting bolt. they ride great and the setup is night/day from stock. Just poor quality control and horrible powder coating.
  16. forgot about this thread but i have ridden many times with this setup and had not had any issues. From what i can tell, it appears that alba's jig is fucked up because the side that hits at full lock (right knee when sitting on bike) has a wider spread on the lower shock mount compared to the other side (which does not hit at full lock) which would push the rear tube back and therefore hit the tie rod. Other than that, powder coat quality is junk and looked like someone rattle canned it inside a cardboard box. Regardless, night and day difference over a stock suspension setup.
  17. I lied to you, your uppers are on right, i threw mine on and as you said they hit it they are flipped the other way. i will update this once i get my shocks
  18. hope you figured this out by now. but reading the directions from ALBA, it looks like your upper A-arms are on the wrong side.
