Hi all, I'm Dylan. Been riding a couple banshee occasionally for a few years now but just recently was able to get my own. I fell in love with the banshee as soon as I sat down on a friend of mine's. Anyway, I just got my banshee, and I've been working on the tune. It was running WAAAYYY rich at first, and had bad gas in it. I drained the old fuel and put in fresh stuff, doubled the power easily. Then I started leaning it out because it was bogging down low reallllly bad but in the higher rpms it suddenly hit a massive power band. I'm running pretty lean now, and it seems good. I'm making a lot of power in the high rpms, so much so that it does a wheelie without popping the clutch even in 3rd gear.
My questions are, is that normal or is it running wrong? (the other banshee I've ridden a few times NEVER had enough power to pull the front wheels without popping the clutch and didn't hit as large of a power surge as mine does, so I really have no idea here)
And what reeds (and/or other mods) would be good to make some more low-end power for trail riding but not sacrifice my high rpm power?
P.S. I did do a search of the forums here and couldn't find any that answered my specific questions, so if this is an unnecessary thread.
