It all depends who ports it. When the Serval’s came out guys like Cam and Jeff were both posting dyno results of porting that netted gains all around with just tunnel clean up, re shaping and better angles. No duration changes. All torque and HP. No loss down low. Similar results on smaller in frames and in frame drag pipes. You want bigger carbs and pipes that are made specifically to do what you’re saying you don’t want. Smart Carbs really aren’t cracked up to what the advertising says, and Shearers are a top end in frame drag pipe. Are you chasing a magical number or are you setting it up for digging out of tree shots? There is so much R&D out there that folks know what does what and if it’s ported right, you won’t lose anything down low, in fact you’ll gain everywhere. Snipers on Servals have proven to make more bottom and top than the Shearers, although if you want it more for tighter technical riding, the CPI’s you mentioned would be great, but you might need to track down a big bore set or make new stingers.

I finally made the plunge in to the Diesel world and picked up a Duramax/Allison Silverado 2500. It's freezing balls here and the additive the guy left in the console says nothing about Anti Gelling in the cold weather. I picked up some Diesel 911 at the gas station for my first fill up. Just curious what you fella's are running to keep the oil burners flowing the juice in the cold temps? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Next project, I need a set of hand guards to keep the cold wind off my paws. Gonna need to get creative to make them only need one mount as I will be running them on J handle bars like the sled guys run. Anyone here ran any single mount hand guards that couldn't mount to the end of a staring handle bar? (Note: Not my shit^) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

+4 has proven to be a typically safe option. There are two areas to read the spark plug when checking if the motor is happy with current timing. Most will look at the strap near the 90* bend. A nice line seperating two colors indicates happy. Also look how far the soot is from the top of the center electrode. You want it nice and tight. If it's running clean up in to the plug beyond a millimeter (by eye, there are other precise ways to measure) a change is needed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
