  1. Guess I'll switch, must be some reason the majority liked the others better.
  2. I bought one from fast a couple of years ago that instead of the whole plate turning just the pick up slides to set the timing. Are the other type any better than mine? Can't seem to find one like mine now.
  3. Started my banshee up, ran great for about 10-15 min then it cut out for a split second (as if I hit the kill switch) then came back on and was fine. The more I rode the worse it became. the lost spark would last for longer durations and happen more frequent. As I was trying to make it home I would let it coast in gear while it was happening and sometimes it would pick back up and go for a short distance. Others it would come to a stop. I'd kick it and it would always fire back up on the second kick and run perfect until it happened again. If I let it cool down I could make it a much longer distance before it took a shit again, as if the temperature played a part. All electrical components are brand new oem except the coil (I know that doesn't mean the cant go bad). My question is: what component, while starting to go bad, would get worse the warmer it got? I was thinking the coil but didn't wanna go buying shit till I asked you guys. Would trimming the wires back be a possible fix? not sure on that since it doesn't do it cold. I don't fucking know, sick of this electrical shit. Any help is greatly appreciated.
  4. No shit? Love this site, learn something new every day Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk

  13. Finally got my shee jetted pretty good (thanks to guys on here) but now I have a question on timing. I have a 4 mil 421 from vitos, bills pipes at the moment, 35's, open air box, v force 4, 93 pump, 22cc domes (not sure if u would need to know anything else). I'm at +4 now but had one reputable shop tell me I need to be at +6 and another reputable shop tell me to keep it at 4. Really don't wanna rebuild this thing, any input on what's best/what I need? 14. God damn it, this 10 mil and starting over is me to a tee. Fucking shit, lessons learned I guess Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  15. Ok so I lost spark on my shee, flat out died. Went over everything. Tried a brand new oem cdi, went over the harness (which had only 1/2 a tank of gas time on it), checked key switch and on/off switch, stator read good. That was last night then I ran out of daylight. Tonight when I first got to it I held the plug up to the head and kicked it and the fucker had spark, this was without me doing anything. BUT it was a weak spark. Still started though. Only thing I didn't do was trim the coil wires back a little. Anyone have an idea what would cause it to have no spark sometimes then a weak spark others? Thanks in advance. 16. Lookin to see if anyone had a billet stator cover with maybe some matching water pump cover and insert, possibly even an already polished clutch cover Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  17. Had my daughter's seventh grade orientation tonight, didn't get a chance to check it out. It's 9:30 here in pa and work at 4 in the morning. Definitely will check stuff out tomorrow n report back Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  18. After being on banshee hq I didn't even start mine with them on. They were the first thing to come off of it Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  19. Thanks guys, makes sense when u stop n think about it lol. I'm just freaking the fuck out, first jetting in my first shee with porting and then this (no tors by the way). This all started because of a lost spark issue, figured I'd start building it while shit was apart. Over 5 grand later (and not done yet) and I have practically a new banshee, well did have for a week. I'll check that stuff out n report back. Thanks again Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  20. There is actually no spark. Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  21. Ok, will do first thing when I get off of work tomorrow. I sure did learn my lesson by having the local shop assemble my motor. He's awesome with 2 strokes, stock ones, but not these things. My winter motor well deff be done by a site sponsor or maybe assembled and tuned by the dude in long island if he'd be generous enough to do it for me Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  22. Ok guys, as some of u might know I've been jetting my 4 mil in lately. With that I gotta give those who have me a good starting point props because all said the same thing and we're pretty much spot on. BUT tonight when I finished it up I took it for one more rip and it died, no spark. It has a brand new oem harness, cdi, and key switch. Got a oem stator from hp2000 that looked in pretty damn good shape. Only other thing that's left is the coil and pick up but the pickup looked good too (I know u can't go by looks but hand with me for a sec). Yesterday and tonight when I went to start it, on the first kick it would backfire but then start right up. Could that have been a warning sign of an electrical problem or just off on jetting? Actually hoping someone will tell me that the caps on the coil are fucked up, maybe need to clip the wires a little or something. Thanks in advance Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  23. air screws are at 1 1/2 out now, maybe I'll try 2. Put a 170 main in it and even though most people told me to start out with that I think I'm gonna have to go a little bigger. I did a plug chop and there was a little color but not much at all Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
  24. Thanks man, for a pilot it has a 45 in it. It will sit there and idle all day and takes of pretty good BUT I do have to barely touch the throttle for it to start (just for a split second) then like I said it idles perfect. This doesn't happen all the time but more so then not. U think maybe a little rich, like it needs a little more air the way it is? Sent from my SCH-I535 using Tapatalk
