  1. There is a lot of studys out about the danger of concussion at those ages. It's not good for the brain, especialy at a young age 'cause the brain is not 100% growed.
  2. Or maybe you can provide me all the measurments for the 'seat' of the dome?
  3. From 10% difference, it's legaly not the same design anymore. I never re invent the wheel, most of the time, i start from design already available and change what i dont like. For Banshee head, there is at least 3 different designs. Finaly, my goal is to cnc my eom head (sleeper), and i need measuement for the dome (pro design style), so that's why i need a head.
  4. Hi guys, i'm looking for a used, non fonctional (cracked or what ever) billet head. Thx!!!
  5. Of course, that's why formula one have paddle shifters...
  6. I have a Baja 5b 1/5th scale and it's pretty fun to ride, even if i'm not on it.
  7. Welcome to tbe shee world! Dont forget that the stock shee engine will outperform the stock frame/suspension already. That's why people will tell you to put money on the suspension/handling before anything else.
  8. you are right, but different strokes for different folks i guess ;-)
  9. Yeah... Steel is about 8g/cc, Alu is about 2.7gr/cc and Ti about 4gr/cc
  10. Mill Test Report (MTR) is a little bit overkill. It's not like if you were pouring your Ti alloy yourself. Usually it's easy to have the spec sheet available (strain/strengh curves etc)
  11. Ti is a very nice alloy. Very strong with the weight of aluminium. But i think it's a bitch to work with (weld or cnc). I dont, myslef, had to work with Ti but that's what i heard. Maybe someone who worked with Ti will put his 2 cents. I still have nightmare about Dural, who is a very nice aluminium alloy, but was a bitch to pour, cast, weld, cnc, name it! Maybe Ti alloy fall in that category, if so, if you're not in aeronautic or F1 racing, it probably doesnt worth the trouble.
  12. Just google titanium stress/strain curves.
  13. Maybe, but it's a nice tool for tuning. Sorry for my bad english, i'm a french Cannuck!
  14. Yup, but, spec wise, i taugh it was about the best for the bucks. 2 egt, 1 water, 1 rpm, 2 screen, 200 min of records at 1/10th second rate on all chanels playback, software, warning lights etc... Lots of stuff in that thing.
  15. This is my setup, cost more but i like it.
  16. This! The engine if the shee already outperform the suspension.
  17. Yeah, i can easily imagine the mess! Sorry for my bad english, i'm a french Cannuck!
  18. Yes and no...We are talking about new design, better idea and maybe a completly new tranny.
  19. Sorry, it was the only definition of the 'shocker' i know... Sorry for my bad english, i'm a french Cannuck!
  20. Nice read, thx. For my part, i dont have any buisness interest at all. I'm making those parts for me and i make thread about it 'cause i think that some people like those kind of DIY thread.
  21. Wow!!! That is a lot of thing to think about!! Thx!! I will have to do the 3d model of the trany if we want to do majors upgrades with those kind of nice ideas!!
