  1. I already told you about that. The precision depend on the user pressure. A micrometer have a mecanisim for that. You use a caliper all day long, so you are used to it and probably put the same pressure each time (experience). It's not the case with a noob or a casual user.
  2. We (us and the students) use all mitutoyo digitals here. A galiper is not a precision instrument so, vernier, dial or digi, i dont care, if i want to be precise i will use a micro or our cmm.

  6. Arsen motor won most of the ice race here.
  7. You have point. We are all Mitutoyo here. Quality tools.
  8. 'Vernier' is a scale, not an instrument. The tool is called a galiper, you can have galiper with a vernier scale or a digital scale. Get a digital one. Easier and faster to read. If y I u are serious about it, you will need tje tools Bennett listed too.
  9. Or a pic, square to the link, with a reference. Envoyé de mon GT-P5113 en utilisant Tapatalk
  10. Yup, basic position,i will do the rest. In fact, i can just study the geometry and make one of my own. It's not rocket science.
  11. If someone can take basics measurments of the elka linkage, I can make a couple of those. I will need one myself. Envoyé de mon GT-P5113 en utilisant Tapatalk
  12. Nope, i remeber that too.
  13. yup, that is bugging me. My engine do that too and i dont understand how... Alu melt at about 1250, i guess that the egt can be higher at the end of the exhaust vs the chamber??? I would like to have some explaination about that.
  14. Yup!! I have no doubt that some other brand of oil works good too, but i always had good results with Sinto.
  15. ^^ This ^^ and this But dont forget that no engine is the same. Mine go easy above 1200 without problem.

  22. Guys, i think i already mentioned it, but i have no interest making money or making a lots of parts. Believe ot or not, i'm doing it for fun and to keep me sharp with real life projects. It would be against my moral to compete with people who are making this for a living when i have those equipements for free. I'm making stuff for myself, plus some more units to pay the material (usually 3 to 5) that's it. I will not make more than 4-5 gas caps, even if i know i would sell some more. I would be more interested in exchange of services than money. Thx for asking Possum.
