  1. Can you prove me wrong on my post?
  2. Science scare you?
  3. Just to be sure that no body is miss guided by blind statement. Ti have a young modulus (G) lower than steel, but it also have a lower density (D). So the important thing is the 'specific young modulus' i.e. G/D. So to be clear, pound for pound, Ti flex less than steel and that's the important thing to consider. That's why you find Ti everywhere in aerospace.
  4. That's ok, even your knowledge have limits, especialy material wise.
  5. Sorry, i thought you were BHQ's material guru... lol!!
  6. Titanium have a better specific young modulus (E/p)
  7. The title said it all. I'll start. How many hp a boost bottle add?
  8. You would look like a thug !!
  9. lol!!! That's a great idea!!
  10. With or without the penis? ;-)
  11. That change the angle of the rod, so in theory less stress on the piston
  12. Sorry dude but, you already made a thread about that...
  13. I made a special edition gas cap for our beloved friend Jesse aka ride.race.live Top of the cap Back of the cap Do you think he will like it?
  14. Tors removed or not? First, study a little bit those diagrams.
  15. I bought a banshee exactly for that purpose: trying things. I already asked a lot of questions and learned a lot of banshee related stuff from people who are not insecure about their knowledge... Thx for the advice anyway. Envoyé de mon GT-P5113 en utilisant Tapatalk
  16. Dont be jelly insecure little boy...
  17. I wish I had the $$$ to play with Titanium! 7075 is twice the price of 6061 already.
  18. Very constructive, as usuall...
  19. I dont know the range of the forces involved in shifting. I will take a hardeness test on the oem drum and start from there and probably try one in 7075 T6. If it wear too fast, then too bad. Cant be as strong a steel for that application, but if it can hold for sometimes, maybe some people would be interested to try one to save weight and chage it each season. We will see, easy to cnc anyway, i'll make one in 4140 too.
  20. I agree, that's why a made my msc in aluminium metalurgy on top of my bac in mechanical engineering. 7075 will hold very good me think. We will see.
  21. Yeah, the job look clean to me. That was not a boucher for sure ;-)
  22. Not loosing to munch snap and torque over the 33?
  23. 421 (68mm) , 4 mill.
