  1. Basics first. have you ruled out any air leaks by a pressure test? Perhaps your lean on the main and rich on the pilot. How does it start while cold and while warmed up? I would leave the pilot and up your main to a 162 or 165 and plug chop that. Where is your clip position on needle and your air screw ? Ps your carbs aren’t too big not sure why you think your running rich with white plugs
  2. ragun runs 22in cst pulse tires on his 521 and he really advocates for them, they hook like a mother. Id prolly get a pair if i didnt plan on mostly doing sand riding
  3. I feel like he posted about a banshee last year that he blew up too. i could be wrong
  4. good buyer here i sold him some sparkies last year no issues from him
  5. better bottom end to mid range. They are a snappy pipe imo i loved them when i had them, you could gear it differently for the road for some more top end too. if i remember correctly, i think a jet size for every 2k elevation change, close to something like that. So for higher elevation you jet leaner because there is less air, so your mixture is getting more fuel to air ratio. So if your a 290 you could run a 270 or 260.
  6. You could run the pro circuits with the forest approved spark arrestors, i think you will like those better than t6s too as far as that small bog, try turning your air screw in. you shouldnt need a bigger pilot with those mods. Look through the jetting page thats sticky and almost all piped stock bikes are fine with a stock pilot, if your riding in cold conditions you could prolly go up a size but 25 is fine where your at now, try turning the air screw in a 1/4 turn or so
  7. man those things really did take a ton of work to set up
  8. new sprocket seal every time it comes out??
  9. jwr, what happened to the little widow in the intake at the top of the bridge that is usually there on the stock cylinders?

  15. If your going to pay anyone to do that stuff, support a sponsor on here that is helping keep the banshee game alive. But if you not going to do that, id seriously invest in learning how to do that stuff yourself. If youve never done it before it can be intimidating but there is really nothing to it for dis assembling a motor just keeping track of everything and organizing it, you could save your self 350 bucks to put towards motor mods next time.
  16. 350 to take apart the engine ?
  17. its so easy, all it takes is some effort and reading. if you dont want to learn to do something as simple as repack a silencers plan to spend stupid amount of money on this thing then, because when something happens (it will) your going to pay 10 fold for a remedial task. just my 2 cent. my advice, learn that machine inside and out in less than a year ,if you want to, it will pay off plus its fun
  18. hes not concerned with Db's i wouldnt waste money on those unless your riding in an area that has noise restrictions. Your silencers are fine probably. You could easily polish those things up nice, repack the silencers, and seal the stingers to the silencers with o rings like they are suppose to be so you get a good seal and possible replace the rivets at the end where the stinger connects. if you wanna polish your silencers, get some 1500, 1000, 800 wet dry sand paper, start with the 800 and finish with 1500, then polish them with 00 steel whool and polish with some mothers and a rag, they will look real nice, even nicer the more time you put into each step
  19. you can find some.. whats wrong with them? post some pics.
  20. thats a good deal. 2100 is good for that. plastics just like a little meh now but you can fix that
  21. Bet if you switch to a pingel and still run stock bowls you will be fine. i run stock bowls 35 pwks on my 7mil and dont have that issue. maybe you have a bigger mtr than me, but id do the pingel first, cheaper route. pretty sure Black and yellow banshee has one for sale too
  22. those are blackandyellowbanshee's shocks haha glad he sold them. good stuff, looks better without the shock covers imo
  23. you dont even got a ride right now lol
