  1. Okay, so check the length of my stroke. I can do that when I take my cylinders off. From BDC to TDC, correct?
  2. What can be determined from my dynometer testing? Is there a way I clarify that I have a 4 mil stroker?
  3. That's the plan over this winter. What concerns me next guys is my crank. The bitch who rebuild my engine said I had a port job and a 4 mil crank. Now im doubting that I even have a 4mil stroker in it. I have a reasons to believe this might be false. Know what I mean?
  4. No doubt bro, it does. I guess my next plan would be to take the cylinders off, check em out, and send them out to redline or HJR for a tits port job. Along with that some cpi pipes, VF4 and hopefully ill be close to 80.
  5. Rides like it should have more power. By all means its healthy and runs great, but why do I only have 60hp? For what I was told that was done to it I should be 70-75 right now. It just does not add up.
  6. Air and fuel are jetted in on point! The mixture couldn't be better for what I have, I was just lied to by my builder.
  7. wayne_smith97, I will do that when I take the cylinders off.
  8. Ben Dover, HA! isn't that the truth, im so pissed dude. WTF, why cant a builder just do what they say they are going to do? Don't ever buy anything from eastcoastatv.
  9. Are there any other recommendations to consider on my quad as far as power gains? I thought about VF4's, idk how much different they are from the 3's.
  10. East Coast ATV "claims" they did the port work during the rebuild. I sent my engine in for the 4mil stroker rebuild he has advertised on Ebay. There was a thread discussion about his crate engines that I was reading before I created my HQ account. I really wanted to tell everyone my experience dealing with east coast atv so I created an account. I was ripped off and completely disappointed dealing with ECA and I would never send a engine to them again. Dave, the owner of ECA, says he did an aggressive port job, but my dynometer testing says bullshit. Do not send any work to them, you will be so discouraged. I could give you so many details of what I had to go through dealing with them, but anyone who reads this will get the point.
  11. What does Kevin charge for a port job? What about redline? I really appreciate the pointers, I like where this is going.
  12. Upgrading the pipes is definitely something that I can do. I would shit my pants if I could get 80hp.
  13. No shit, that's awesome. Im learning you can really squeeze a lot from a good port job. I can expect at least 75 from it you think?
  14. It seems like 75hp is easily achievable with a good port job.
  15. Impressive, Sandking. I am hoping I can have those numbers after I send my cylinders to Kevin over this winter. Whos the best porter? so many banshee enthusiast work with so many different guys.
  16. Did you send yours to HJR? What type of port job do you ride?
  17. Hey gentlemen, need some points of perspective here. I JUST got my banshee back last Saturday (September 20th) from a dyno tune and it squeezed out 60.56hp and 35ft lbs of torque. It has a 4mil trued and welded stroker crank (373cc), 64mm wiseco high comp pistons (stock size), Toomey t-5, cool head, VF3, POD filters, Dyna FS programmable ignition, 35mm pwk's, HD clutch basket, 19cc domes, 175 psi in the cylinders. The builder claimed he ported the cylinders, but I was to anxious to check myself so I just bolted it in my chassis. I have an instinct the builder did not do the port job he claimed, or if he did do a port job, he rushed it just to get it down the line. Do you guys think their is potential ponies still in my cylinders? My goal is to get 75hp out of my stock cylinders. I am considering sending them out to Kevin at HJR, I hear he is the best. What do you guys think of the dyno results? Does that sound about right? Or is there still more available? I appreciate the help, God Bless.
  18. What the hell? Are we in 7th grade? Clearly it was not the end of the world bitch. My point in that statement was to show everyone that the customer service was not responsive at anytime of convenience. I tried to contact EastCoastATV during regular business operational hours and my calls and text were ignored, then I receive an update at 3am? Sure let me get out of bed so we can talk on the phone for an hour. My motor should of came back to me exceeding my expectations, that's how you build a strong customer satisfaction. I joined this site because I thought everyone here wants to support and help the banshee enthusiast and discuss important information, not be a jack ass. That requires you to leave your faggot kid shit on Facebook where non important things are discussed, Admin.
  19. There was no seal in the shaft. Why would I want to read text messages at 3am?
  20. I just created my account in banshee HQ about 10 minutes ago to place my input on the discussion thread of EastCoastATV. I was reading this thread from the beginning and I had no choice but to create an account to tell the banshee lovers about my experience with this company. ECA is a absolute fucking joke. I have been put through so much frustration dealing with them. I received my rebuilt 4mil stoker engine from them and when I installed it into my chassis and filled the fluids, all my transmission fluid poured out of my shifter shaft. They did not replace the seal within the shaft. Their Ebay descriptions on the condition of the rebuild engines are completely false. I tried to contact Dave so many fucking times and never heard shit from him! One time I tried to call him after he knew of the issue and he never picked up his phone. 40 minutes later I call his number from a co-works phone and he picked up 2nd ring. Obviously he was ignoring my call and was not willing to help me at all!!!! Completely disgusted with the customer service and the engine rebuild. When I finally had him on the phone it was nothing but excuses and lies that came from his mouth to convince me otherwise. He rebuilt my engine then sends me text messages at 3 in the morning giving me updates when I am sleeping. I got into a verbal argument with him over the phone and I had him refund me some of my money. I was extremely polite to Dave and was not a rude person by any means. I was really patient with him then my fuse overheated. It was not a pleasant experience dealing with this guy and I highly recommend that you get your motor serviced else where. I wouldn't send my engine there for a free rebuild. ASSHOLE!
