  1. $4k? A Laeger's chassis minus the cost of the pro-trax front end, swingarm, and stem is $4k. There'd be no way I'd go over $1500.
  2. Well considering that I'm pouring my money into the engine build at the moment and that I may have to run different shocks, I couldn't go over $1000 for it at the moment. That would obviously go up after late Feb., but that's where I'm at now.
  3. How much are you asking loco? Which one? A1 is for fags.
  4. I want a removable subframe, just not a removable grab bar from the subframe. The stops can't be turned in my case because it the LSR arms that I have. The rims are less than 1/8" from the arms at full lock. A1 is for fags.
  5. I'm going to try to find a subframe that has the oem style bend to the grab bar that isn't removable so that I can save weight there as well. It'll be powdered for sure. Frame will be white, subframe, nerfs, swingarm, and a-arms will be black. If I can get F43 to build me a bumper in time, it'll be black too. A1 is for fags.
  6. While the engine is gone, I'm going to do some work on the chassis. I've decided on a chromoly subframe, tabs removed, and a chromoly tube to replace the gusset that's behind the front bumper. I'm also pondering on doing away with the factory gusset that's under the 2 tubes that run in front of the engine in favor of 2 tubes that form an X. I'd also like to gusset the upper stem mount tubing so I don't have to force the tank off the next time I roll it. Any other suggestions to save weight? A1 is for fags.
  7. Can't send you a message. A1 is for fags.
  8. I have pics or can get pics of anything listed within 12 hours. Please PM me. A1 is for fags.
  9. Better go check my pipes to make sure they match what's in my fs ad so I don't end up looking like this guy. A1 is for fags.
  10. Fkn A gusto. Keep at it. A1 is for fags.
  11. OP does, just not right now. Probably after the serval is done. A1 is for fags.
  12. I'll buy the hell out of some if they provide extra ass clearance when hanging off the side. A1 is for fags.
  13. Nlp and I saw some somewhere else that I can't remember. Are they out of production? A1 is for fags.
  14. I saw a picture of some fullbores with some AC MX pro pegs and it appears that the rear fenders on the fullbores were about 3" farther back than the stock ones. This is after referencing where they meet the AC bars. Can anyone confirm this? It sure would be nice to have some more room to hang off the side without sitting so hard on the fenders. Also, does anyone know where I can get a yellow set? The places I've found only have black. A1 is for fags.

  16. I've pondered doing a frankenstein chassis, but I think I'd be better off with a Banshee engine in another chassis. TBH, I'll probably try to find a 450 and build that after I get done with this ordeal and donw with the wife's Blaster.
  17. I'd have paid good money for that chassis...
  18. Those pipes are $1800 through Arlan now. He has them posted on his website. I believe that Arlan can build a jam-up pipe for any application, but I don't see the pipes dropping significantly in price simply becuase it'd be on a 421, 465, 521, etc. The issues with the Sniper dyno testing that I saw was that there was a significant drop in midrange power (5-15hp) vs. Shearers on the link that Zilla posted. There was more bottom end and top end, but midrange just plopped. However, that was the only instance I saw of that. If I could have had them shipped to chrome and to my door by the time I had to get it tuned and a few test rides for the DT ride, I'd have ordered them. I'll order them after the DT ride most likely.
  19. Besides bottom end power, I have to fix arm pump. I think that a CSL seat and some smaller front tires will help. I'm also sending my shocks to JET after I pay Cam for the serval.
  20. After yesterday, I didn't learn any new reason that I need more bottom end power, but I did remember a lot of it. -If I nail it when landing a jump, it's pretty much a lost cause. -If I nail it to try to pull the front end up in the air, it takes entirely too long -If I'm sideways through a curve and catch too much traction, it bogs. If I keep it a gear lower, I have to shift before I'm through the curve. -I can't keep it in a higher gear coming through longer right-hand curves to keep from having to upshift halfway through. It's either let it bog or let it rev it's balls off. Those are what I noticed yesterday. Not to mention the times that I didn't carry enough momentum through the curves, but that's rider error and a bottom end power issue. I was the 3rd fastest at the track yesterday behind a 60-ish year old guy on a CRF450 and my buddy on a long travel YFZ. I could keep up with the YFZ everywhere except corner exit until I had a few issues that I had to pull off to fix. During that time, they kept riding and getting faster. By the time I got back on, a kid on a TTR230 landed with his front tire turned and ate shit harder than anyone I've ever seen. We pulled off to help him and then got overran with the drunk crowd on the mud bikes. We got back on to try and push them off the track and a super special idiot that had to be taken by ambulance to the hospital because he tried to whip his 250EX in the air and couldn't pull it back. Needless to say that we won't be going back to that track on the weekends. We'll have to venture out even farther.
  21. Anybody within a few hundred miles of Mobile, AL with some SLPs or any other pipes that someone wants tested? I can provide a place to stay and have a few good places to ride, but I'd rather not have the liability of someone else's pipes unless it's necessary. I'll have it on a dyno with CPI and snipers, though probably not on the same day. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. I don't anticipate doing anything other than taking this bike to the track. I may occasionally do a quick ride with everyone after they veer off into the woods, but I currently don't have anyone willing to make a trip to any major dunes that I could justify keeping $750 in pipes for. 23. It would be for information only. I don't think the SLPs would make as much in the midrange or top end as many would assume. Hard information is better than strong speculation though. I'll try it out but I won't be buying them just to know. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I'm going to be dialing it in on a dyno. If someone wants to send some pipes for me to try, I'd sure make a few pulls. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Yes, cam knows what I'm going to be doing with it.
