  1. Talk to Cascade. The chromer they use is pretty good. Doubt they'll tell you who it is, so you'll have to go through them I'm guessing.
  2. I ran a 7mm WSM in my dunner for a couple seasons. Cam was hesitant on using is on drag setup.
  3. I'm glad someone is pulling the trigger on a set finally! It'll be interesting to see how this turns out. If its favorable, I might order a set this winter.
  4. With the cascade thumb throttle, and lighter springs in my 39s, I was pretty happy with my the feel of it. Was there another reason you decided honda?
  5. I'm running the cascade ones on my 10mill and my wifes bike. I never had an issue when my banshee was making 55ish hp, but when I stepped up to the 7mill, the nuts would back off. No idea why. Put a cascade one on, and haven't had a problem since.
  6. 5th yes, but haven't even touched wot in 6th yet. Things start moving fast enough in 5th right now.
  7. No, thats florence. We where there last weekend.
  8. I say banshee. Started my wife out on one at Sandlake, and never looked back. Its a waste to get something that she'll struggle to keep up on. Just need to change tank and radiator shroud, and it'll be finished.
  9. Plan on playing with gearing at all? FWIW, I'm running 17/42.
  10. Lean forward when you grab a handful of throttle. Just a friendly reminder.
  11. When he did my old 7mill that made 90+hp, he told me that I should think about doing straight cuts. I decided to, just for piece of mind. My older brother who runs a 4mill cub still has factory helical after 4 seasons. You would probably be fine, but Cam won't point you in the wrong direction or try to sell you stuff you don't need.
  12. 500ft in elevation is the difference between his place and the Oregon coast, so its not like I'm riding St. Anthonys or anything. I only get to ride winters, so if you set the bike up for 45-55F, your spot on for the coast.
  13. I love the CSFX silencers they sell. Top notch quality for sure.
  14. Can i build my own motor? Yeap. Do i have the time to build it, tune it, and make sure everything is dialed in? Nope. I work way to much to wrench on a quad when i want to ride.
  15. Thanks m671054, I was just tightening things down tonight, and it didn't look right.
  16. Pipes arrived, and everything is installed. He said fittment and welds looked great. I have no idea when it will tuned, but should be somewhat soon I'm guessing. I'll post a sheet when its done.
  17. Haven't talked to him. Something came up at work, so i won't be even around until mid next week. I'm sure he'll call when something changes.
  18. I think your best bet is to call cam and talk to him about pricing. I didn't do chrome pipes, no polishing, etc. That stuff can add up quickly. Pricing will also have to deal with what you have to start with. I already had straight cuts, lockout, promod, and v4s.
  19. Call him and see what his lead time is. He didn't want mine until the end of December, but i was going to be on vacation so i dropped it off a couple weeks early.
  20. They are suppose to be here tomorrow, then I have no idea of what Cams time table is. I hope to have it for a ride on the 24th of this month. But, if not, no big deal.
  21. Cool, I'll check into that.
  22. I've been thinking about getting a chest protector for duning. As I get older, my responsibilities have added up, and my insurance rates continue to climb, and I don't want to put my family in a bad position if something where to happen while riding. What I want to know is, what do you guys feel is the best balance between protection and restriction?
  23. Yeah the instructions left a little to be desired, that's why i was asking. A couple better photos would of gone a long way to help. Thanks for the input guys.
