  1. Mate you should use the search engine as this topic has been been thrashed time and time again.. best way to search is to use google and type for example.... "banshee stock compression bansheehq" Stock compression ranges from 110-125psi.. Oh and welcome to Bansheehq
  2. Cheers mate, i will see if one pops up locally, if not i'll let you know..
  3. how much for stock swingarm shipped to Australia?
  4. if you wanted performance i would look at different pipes, porting, cool head with smaller domes "more compression" the list goes on! You are chasing false hopes in performance with filter v filter.
  5. might be within .5-1hp, like i said you will NOT feel a difference
  6. oh i thought you were talking about a 2 into 1 carb system. i wouldn't think about what one works better for performance you will not feel any difference, i would say it's just which one will suite your needs the most.
  7. i would pick the k&n or the uni as i like the dual carb setup, but that's me. I personaly think you should just save your $$ and stay with stock carbs.
  8. 2-1 carb = tight trails/woods dual carbs with pods = everything else The kind of riding are you doing most will determine what setup should be used.
  9. No worries mate, Depends on what riding you do most the time. i ride 100% dunes so i stick to k&n pods. if you are near water/mud i would stick with an air box. What might work for someone else might not work for you.
  10. like i said with those figures i gave you, you should be a tad "Rich"! the jetting we all gave you are perfect "STARTING" points. you're not going to get your jetting bang on first go, so it's always better to start what you know is rich and work down. You asked for advice and we told you what to do and how to do it! Let us know how you go tuning it. Good luck
  11. i would try middle clip first and go from there. if anything you will be a bit rich, but better being rich than lean.
  12. another thought, if you are going to stick with stock carbs, make sure to change the needle as the stock ones are shit. i use a needle with part no# Y151 and it cleared the carbs up nice! also Toomeys are supposed to be the best for stock carbs.
  13. try this and work from there. 300 main needle middle clip 27.5 pilot 1 1/2 turns on screw.
  14. Yes i am will Ayesully, i'm running stock carbs with billet bowls just for added insurance.. like stated above depends on what you are doing, if you see yourself holding WOT for extended periods go the bigger carb, if not i would say the 28's will suffice.. enjoy! you will love the cylinders!
  15. thats oil as fuck! i ran 25:1 for break (first tank) then 32:1
  16. No worries, thanks anyway. may slap on some SLP pipes and gear for them, either stick with the 15 or maybe 16
  17. thanks for the reply, Yes thats what i have read about shearers vs CPI. How you think CPI would run on smaller ex port?? 191/121
  18. cheers Spurdy ill look into shearers as well. Oh and sick BBQ skills!
  19. I've been tossing up between SLP and CPi. put it this way anything will be an improvement as i'm currently running raped out fmf fatty's
  20. Nice mate!, i thought shearer came on real late and revved out longer? thought shearers and CPI liked a bigger ex port?
  21. Need help making up my mind on pipes! Mods are: 421 lp driveline cylinders "as cast" 95% duning 5% trails 15/41 gearing I like popping wheelies and play dragging. so like top end with some bottom-mid. what pipes you think will suit me and why?? AND GO!!!!
  22. Hey claude, don't know if it will be the same as what i had but try upping your main jet.. mine sounded like that, upped the main jet 1 or 2 sizes and it cleared up.
