  1. Awesome. id love to see what equipment (jigs etc) needed to make a pipe. Curious of templates and matching each side. thanks for starting this thread
  2. Looking forward to learning. Generally speaking can you explain the effects of chamber diameter and cone length ?
  3. DL cylinders are plated by Millenium. That right there is the difference. Also no Chinese cranks or cylinders. DL can rebuild your stock crank. It will just need bearings and be trued. I’d call DL and send your engine there. If your set on HJR get the mx hardcore port, it will be less peaky.
  4. You’re not thinking right. You want to take stock cylinders and bore them to 66 leaving you one more bore (in reality) or possibly no more bores, then pay for porting, then domes and pistons. Why? buy Driveline kit direct from DL and keep your crank (stock Yamaha cranks are awesome or buy a used one) and build a 392. go to the product review section of this forum and find a post by Mailman on his 392. its a no brainer
  5. I’d run them.
  6. Ahhhhh, I thought you bought a kit with small and large.
  7. Personally I think they sent the wrong shit. Never seen that
  8. Use a double nut on your tusk axle and save your money
  9. I’d do a compressions test next followed by a reed check. OKO’s have had issues with internals and people would upgrade those parts to Kehein (probably not if) If you can borrow a CDI for a few minutes that would cross that off the list you can ohm out a stator and I think there’s a vid on SouthTexas Banshee channel
  10. Great info. i used to build mountain bikes (totally different I know) but once I went to ceramic bearings in my hubs I never went back. They lasted forever and showed no wear. Definite noise difference though
  11. That said both Fireball and LSR are top notch, either one will be quality.
  12. Contact JL Engineering and check his pricing, I’d bet you’d get the same quality for cheaper
  13. With the CDN dollar so weak you’d be crazy not to contact Stadium or Elka. if there’s not a Trump tariff on them coming back into the country you’d have the best shocks available for less
  14. Good luck racing. Appreciate all the info in this thread.
  15. Driveline 392, 33pwks vf4 reeds and you’ll have a great engine
