  2. ill check it but wouldn't this make the clutch hard to pull even with the plates and springs out? or atleast hang up?

Im not exactly sure what you mean by pushrod im pretty sure you talking about the rod with the Phillips head on it and if so its fine I pulled it out. also when the plates and spring were out it pulled fine no hanging up or anything so im pretty sure it has to do with the springs or plates one.
  4. I guess that would help but it still doesn't help me figure out whats going on lol. ive had this thing 3 weeks and have had it mess up 5 or 6 times, nothing big just knid of annoying.
  5. that's the thing I did adjust it. arm lined up with notch on case. and as for the springs it wasn't that hard before. and the cable is almost new too but I cleand it anyway and its still hard.
  6. well ive been waiting on a new stator and timing plate to come in the mail and I figured id check out my clutch problems. the clutch on the way out of the trails became really hard to pull, I mean I had to use 2 hands by the time I got to the truck. I figured it was a grooved basket but when I took it apart the basket and plates and springs ended up being almost brand new. the plates were sticking though from the oil, I had to pry them apart after I pulled them all out of the basket. the oil had a stickiness to it, I spilled some on the ground and when I stepped on it my foot stuck a little bit. I put new oil in and cleaned the plates and now it will roll with the clutch pulled in but its crazy hard to pull. also it has all six hd springs in it which I didn't know but I don't think that's the problem it was always stiff but now its ridiculous to the point were I can ride it and it came on suddenly. also I cant ride it till I get my new stator in the mail but id like to figure this clutch out. any ideas?

  8. ya I need to pick one up but I took it to the shop and the guy didn't have change so I only paid 10 and he broke his first puller trying to get it off. it needs a timing plate and stator everything els is good. I goy one ordered (oem) for 32 dollars comes with plate wires and stator ill let you all know when I get it put on if it runs good.
  9. I don't have a puller I have to take it to the shop tomorrow to pull it. while im there ill let the guy look at it and see what he says all looks bad or worn out.

  11. I took the stator cover off and its got copper wires frayed off everywhere. do you think its just the stator or the timing plate too?

  13. well I got out today and it started up and idled okay for a minute. but then I put it in gear and I don't know what the #%!@ is going on it started going in reverse and popping. I tried it a couple times and it still did it in 2nd gear then it died and wont start back know. do you guys think it could be cdi or timing?

  19. no that's what I thought at first too haha. but I also checked the air hose between the carbs and I checked compression 2 weeks ago and it was good but ill check again tomorrow. I looked at the reeds too and didn't notice anything bad but idk for sure.
  20. well I went on my first trail ride today and I rode all day without anything going wrong. but when we got back to the truck I let my friend ride it and when he got back it idled for a second and then shut off and it started back but ran like crap and wouldn't rev and died back out. I brought it home and it wouldn't start at all. it isn't anything he did to it because he took it really easy down pavement but it went from running fine to not at all without any signs of anything going wrong. also at one point theright carbs slide stuck and revved out but it went down and didn't do it again. also I tried rollstarting it and it just backfired real loud. I took the carbs off and they were fine. jetting is pretty good its a little rich im assuming because its a darker brown but the temperature has been changing by like 20 degrees everyother day here so ive not messed with it.

  22. well ot sure what I did but I just started unplugging and replugging wires and it decided to start first kick. have no idea what I did but It works!!!!
  23. ok I got some new plugs gap set at .03 inches still no spark from either side. what now?
  24. ok when i get done with school tomorrow ill pick up some new plugs and ill check spark and let you guys know but im going to bed for tonight.
  25. well i picked some up but didn't think to look at them and it turns out they gave me warrior 350 plugs. so no new plugs, ill change them out tomorrow and see if i get spark. but if i don't what could be the problem
