  1. ill try impact with it tomorrow its been to cold to work here the last couple of days - teens and no heat in garage. supposed to reach 40s tomorrow though so ill try some impacts tomorrow. also im planning on buying the pancake setup if I was to buy this what else would I need assuming I replace all the components from actuator out.http://www.ebay.com/itm/Chariot-Clutch-Pusher-Pancake-Bearing-Yamaha-Banshee-Stock-aftermarket-clutch-/251390983065?pt=Motors_ATV_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a8811fb99&vxp=mtr
  2. another question. how do you guys normally take off your clutch basket nut?
  3. thanks ya I can see a huge difference. never worked with anything ported so I didn't really know how exactly they looked
  4. ok I was just curios as im not sure what to look for thanks guys
  5. just curious if you guys can tell if my intake and exhaust is ported my cousin seems to think it is but im not sure. he thinks this because on the exhaust sides the lips are ground down. sorry one picture didn't load right from my phone.http://<a href="http://s1362.photobucket.com/user/gavyndamron/media/IMG_18661_zpsc1074316.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1362.photobucket.com/albums/r699/gavyndamron/IMG_18661_zpsc1074316.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo IMG_18661_zpsc1074316.jpg"/></a> http://<a href="http://s1362.photobucket.com/user/gavyndamron/media/IMG_18681_zps7d0b811b.jpg.html" target="_blank"><img src="http://i1362.photobucket.com/albums/r699/gavyndamron/IMG_18681_zps7d0b811b.jpg" border="0" alt=" photo IMG_18681_zps7d0b811b.jpg"/></a>
  6. I took the motor out and pulled the actuator arm and it came out fine but its got a piece ground off it looks like not sure how to post pictures. also what all has to be taken off the motor to split the cases upside down?
  7. ya I know the balls not welded because I can move the ball a little bit but I think it may be stuck in a groove it made or somehting
  8. well what can I do to get them out? will I have to split cases or is the an easier way
  9. there not sdtuck together as the ball will move slighty but they are stuck inside
  10. well I was riding around my block the other day and my fourwheeler was running perfect. I went to stop at the bottom of my hill and realized the clutch wasn't pulling at all so I had to ride back homeand just stay in second gear. upon inspection I realized the adjuster pin with the Phillips head had been stripped on the threads and the nut was loose on it. I got a new bolt and when putting it on realized the ball was stuck inside and wouldn't come out, but it will turn, only slightly in one direction back and forth but it will move so its not welded together but there are metal shavings and a slightly ground down spot on the ball from what I can see. also I can move the clutch with a full pull when pushing on the ball with the other rod but when I put plates and spring on to see what happened it only pulled a tiny bit. the adjuster arm moves fully too so im almost positive it has to do with the rod or ball. any ideas?
  11. alright ill get back too ya in a day or 2 im definatley wanting it though but don't hold it for me or anything
  12. how bout just coolant bottle and do you have hoses? and if possible could you approximate shipping on just bottle to Kentucky?
  13. could you ship and if so how much for coolant bottle and break light
  14. also will any caps work or at least that fit or are they banshee specific?
  15. ill have to try that. and you guys think that could cause it to only do it whil its cold? it runs fine after warmed up and it never bogs down or backfires at ful throttle after its warm of course.
  16. also both spark plugs are new. and when looking at them they are like the color of chocolate milk, pretty sure that means theyre running ok. and gas is mixed 32:1 with castor 927 and 93 octane.
  17. ive only had my banshee about a month, its my first two stroke of my own, not ridden many others. ive noticed that when I first start it up and let it idle to warm up the left exhaust doesn't produce as much air and the header stays cold much longer than the left as in touching the left header after about a minute its still ice cold but the right one is fairly warm. also if I revv it just a little bit the left cylinder will backfire every time. after its warm though its fine and both cylinders produce the same amount of exhaust or at least close enough where I cant tell. both carbs have same jets and are synced and cleaned. the compression is within 2 lbs of each other (116 and 118) with the left just slightly lower but that wouldn't be it I don't think, any ideas? also the only known mods are Toomey t5s and open airbox.
  18. well I put my new clutch perch on today and now the clutch is fine, still stuff from springs but nothing abnormal so im good to go. don't know why the other perch was so hard nothing looked broke but I guess that's what I get for buying el cheapo brand parts lol.
  19. ya I lubed it good but I have to wait 2 days for parts to ship to me so im kinda stuck for now I went ahead and painted my gas and radiator cover now no more yellow except the shocks
  20. hey guys sorry ive been working with my friend on his winch all day didn't get to post up. I checked the rods and ball all good came out fine no shrooming on the rods. im going to try and find a new perch for the clutch and some stock springs tomorrow when I go to get my new air compressor. ill hopefully have some leadway tomorrow. ill get a new cable too if I can find it.
  21. I never said it pulled bad with the clutches and pressure plates off, I was saying it pulled perfectly fine without snagging and asked if the ball and rod were bad why it wasn't snagging.
