If someone is near here I would like to bring my CDI box to you and see if its ok. I dont think there is a way to test it. I have a couple things left to test if they dont pan out i dont know where i will go from there. Just would like someone to hook my cdi box up on their shee and see if it fires

Just had an epiphany by you(tricked carbine) saying that. I was wondering why i couldnt see my lights when i was kicking it over. What do i do now test the switch. Continuity test.

On my ohm meter i have a continuity test. I need to hear it beeping right

So i got my new stator and adjustable timing plate in and installed them and still no fire!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I attached some pictures and yes the stator was good. I unhooked and jumped the key switch and unhooked and disassemble the kill switch. The coil seems to test out on the ohm meter. What Now!!!!!!! The only thing i can think of is cdi. Thoughts? I was going to upload pics but it wont let me.

Do we go bigger in jet size in the winter due to fuel density? Or is it something to do with the colder air?

If i ran across a set of FMF's(pipes and silencers) for 50 to 75 dollars i wouldn't be asking these questions. Yes it was an attempt to save money. Will be a little strapped until marchish time frame.

Just talked to a sponsor and that person said just because the lighting side of the stator went out doesnt mean that it wont fire. He said in some cases yes but not always. Any input?

I would just clean it first and check for damage and try again. Check float level. Off the top of my head floats should sit level when carb is upside down. Someone chime in here. My needle had a rough edge where it seats.

Happened to me has to dis- assemble again. Needle was scarred up. Replaced and good as new.

I didnt know thank you starwriter. I would have probably put the break edge to the outside! Whats the minimum thickness for the plates?
