  1. LengthTotal Measurement = 31.5" Bolt to center of carrier. With Link Setup. Powder coating: Very similar to elka red, some chain rash on the carrier and a few normal scrapes. But overall in great shape. Carrier: 35MM included (also powdered red) Bearings good no slop. Dust Caps included $275 Plus ship PP (gift or pay fees) Going to also put up for sale Durablue Eliminator axle (complete with hubs), brake line to fit.
  2. Is that a pita to do or pretty simple? Sounds simple but I know normally how those things end up going. What size do you drill them to?
  3. Deadbeat not the same person that started post. Mine ended up being 58/66 or 396 4 mil set up. Different as majority 4mil setups on 68 pistons.
  4. From Mi ...not a sled guy though. Outside Lapeer...Race at WMSD and PHMC and Phils for the first time last year.
  5. pull your intakes...look directly inside the intake up top. I have seen a few lately that had bore/stroke cast into them, some like mine only had stroke. On the bottom of the right intake I had P433 etched into...BHP stated above that is the millenium number when the cyl was plated. Also looks like if you cant find a number that a measurement of the cylinder can also get you closer.
  6. This is good stuff...Ive struggled with this for a little while now. Only diff is on Alchy and only drag. Have to stay on the throttle at initial clean out as well as on Shutdown "blip it' or it will stall....Im ALL ears on this discussion!
  7. mine was actually stamped on the top of the intake ports but hard to read as half of it was gone. Also only gives the stroke....at least on mine anyway.
  8. Thanks HP...exactly what i was looking for. ill take a look at tonight. Debating tearing top end down as it was running strong when shut down for the season. Wanted to maybe freshen the top end up as no clue how many seasons this had on it before i got it. Going to do a leak down test to see where it is at now. Rather catch a minor issue now than wait until next season.
  9. Thought someone may have some info on cylinder set up ...a few different stroke/bore/piston combos to make this set up in a cub. I would think most common would be 68/54/110 392 SS, also 64/61/110 (7mil) and 66/58/110 396 (4mil)...so WTF
  10. Nick has built some nice ass frames....actually race with him here in MI. Quality top notch but not sure around turn around....usually gets busy this time of year.
  11. Bought a cub a while back have not got into motor yet but see on cylinder stamped p433...what set up is this? Was told rdz built and 392. Looking to freshen up but want to know what I'm working with.
  12. Pulled it apart and found an oring twisted in the 90 degree barb fitting. Surprised that the 90 was just pressed in no threads so pulled apart replaced oring pressed back in with vise...good to go. Just a viton brow oring in there on each side sealing the ball valve. Thanks for the help!
  13. Thanks for the help sleeper. Is the brass an NPT fitting (twist off) or is it just a barb (pull out) I am going to fix it or break it this weekend! If I find o rings local ...ill post where and what size/part number.
  14. I was wondering how it came apart ..was not sure if the center pulled out when lockwasher was removed. So basically pull the barb out replace washer press barb back in. Seals on one side...leaks slightly on other assumed this was basically a ball valve.
  15. Got it to work with reducer but one side of pingle leaking when valve closed in off position....looks like its off to them for a rebuild.
  16. I learned the hard way that there are two different sized ends to Pingle petcock. The hole in my drag tank looks like 3/8 but the Pingle I got has 1/4 threaded. I was just going to insert a reducer so it will thread into my tank. Anyone know what type fitting is not corrosive with Alchy? Not sure if it will corrode brass.
  17. If your going to get into the harness give kompulsive a call (on this forum) and get one of his cut harnesses. All new..no need to chase wiring issues.
  18. There are a few big catamarans that run around here...fuck $400 plus in fuel a day. Fun to watch them throttle on every other boat though...occasionally someone will bite and you get to see an unofficial race.

  21. Customers boat. 30 Baja Outlaw Twin 490HO
  22. Never had an issue but this was about 5years ago..rear shock still strong..too damn stiff but held up and didnt blow seals like I was having before on g outs. 180 lbs and rode like I was 250 lbs blowing seals and bottoming out. Still sent my fronts back to works and heart transplant and upgraded eye for 200 is a pretty decent price for rebuild and upgrade.
  23. Ship back to Works and have them do it...will be cheaper and right also may be able to upgrade parts. look online for prices/form. Did you look into Tech Care Suspension in Pontiac?
  24. Thanks that's what I was thinkin was best but wanted to ask. Any and all help appreciated.
