  1. 96 is a split year, the plugs are different.
  2. Some bad shit is going down when someone says "Watch this."
  3. Sounds like your next step is porting and carbs. If you are feeling froggy jump into some new cylinders. Call a good builder and get some advise as to what will work best for your needs and remember, there can be no budget when it comes to your toys. Buy the best and cry once.
  4. Just joined the site but I have been playing this game for 20 years. Will not say I have seen it all but I have made all the mistakes and experienced plenty of Banshee problems. Change your stator and it will fire for you. When they get weak you cannot spin the motor fast enough by kicking it. It will fire when you pull start it due to the increased RPM to the stator. After it is warm the windings will make better contact for a while. I have fought this same problem until I wanted to rub shit in my hair. Change your stator to a good OEM and go play.
  5. Noss, you will get better support and they will cut custom profiles if you need.
  6. This is why I ask, CLASSIC stator issue.
  7. Need more information, if you are sand or dirt riding. Hillclimbs or flat riding or trails. If you are running a ten mill play bike here in the Oregon sand you would probably need an eight, really depends on your riding style setup and abilities.
  8. Everything has been replaced on the electrical including the stator? And what brand of stator?
  9. For shocks call Tim at Marvin Shaw, he is the best.
  10. Knock all the needles out and die grind the housing thin and it will come out. Tap a grease zerk in the damn things while you got them out.
  11. ^^ good deal there. Buy a used OEM.
  12. Spin the bolt with an impact and then air hammer the sucker out. Must have a big ass air hammer but it works well.
  13. Nice, you will have a great time with it. Check out Metal Tech also for some really nice J-arms. They are in Az. in your neighborhood. Clean bike.
  14. Looks great, we modify these at our RV repair facility quite a lot. May I suggest you run some extra wiring in the ceiling for more lights and in the wall for any other light you may want later. You will thank yourself later for that.
  15. RM stator sells a good one for a reasonable price as well, they claim it is stronger than stock too. I still prefer a clean used stock one. If you buy from E-bay get one from one of the bigger sellers that has a good reputation.
  16. Cascade Innovations did my DM and my Cub, About 200.00 for cylinders and the cases I think were 250.00. The finish they do is perfect and their service is excellent.
  17. You can safely install a catalytic heater in your enclosed, it does consume oxygen though. You must crack a ceiling vent and have a small side vent cracked. It will heat your trailer silently and up to one week off 5 gallons of LP. We install many of these in RV's at our service center and have never had any troubles or complaints. They are wall mounted and take up very little space and if run properly will last for as long as you own your trailer. Check out the Wave 6 by Olypian for your trailer. It is the size you will need.
  18. Sweet, hope to see you there.
  19. They used to be very strict on the sound. If you are making an effort and pack your silencers, they leave you alone. I have never heard mention of spark arrestors required in the dunes and have never been checked for them. Get your safety card and carry it with you, they will ticket you for not having it on your person. It seems like the only time they check sound a bunch is on the busy holiday weekends.
  20. We will be at boxcar the next weekend for the drag races, you should hit one of the races this year. Have a great time, love to tear up the tree shots.
  21. Cam at Redline or Lew Swan at twister cut the best. I have both in my drag bikes. Cam will cut a better duneable one.
