  1. yeah I dont really have the time to mess with tuning, or an area to do it so getting the new carbs and installing them, and giving it to a respected local builder to tune for me. Im sure ill be happy with it
  2. I agree had my first experience with Jeff, and it couldn't have been better, awesome customer service, and great prices
  3. also if it helps 250 lb rider and a plus 6 swingarm
  4. so getting my bike ready for hill climbs, and dumping alot of money into it but seems im gonna be coming up short on funds. anyone ever tried using a blaster rear shock on their banshee? I know its a downgrade but as far as it feels my blaster is stiff in the rear and my banshee sags and flops all over the place. Just wondering if anyone has any insight on it, not going to be a permanent swap just something to get by and get it a little more rigid in the rear so I can stick some power to the ground
  5. yeah sorry for the dumb question it looked funny but after i cleaned all the debris I could have answered that on my own. Anyways got some new heads from fast coming in, figured im gonna do a full rebuild anyways while i have the coolant drained
  6. i have a leak under my stator cover looks like it could be the sprocket or the shifter shaft. I know the countershaft seal can be changed without splitting the cases after researching on here, but havent had any luck with finding info on the shift shaft. Anyone know if it can be changed without a split or is it time for a rebuild?
  7. looking for a complete 2 carb set up, carbs cable and intakes let me know what you got.
  8. take the cap off the master, then compress the pistons in the caliper, then pull the lever until the pistons come back out . repeat until the lever firms up. air goes behind the pistons on atvs so you need to bleed them in reverse.
  9. went with a 2 in 1 and have to adjust needle and pilots every other weekend due to new england weather... seems like a common problem with the single carb setup, anyways found a good deal on a set of 34 pj's. im sure someone on here knows if there a good setup for me. I have no porting, fmf pipes (i know not a hq favorite), plus 4 timing, and thats its, dont know if I should grab these or look for something smaller
  10. blingstar is gay and overpriced, but hope this gets out so they go bankrupt
  11. Looking to go to somewhere on vacation, anyone know of any dunes within a days driving distance from Massachusetts?
  12. came out pretty good using a heat gun and exacto knife, any pointers on getting out imperfections?
  13. It's up to you, they will both have different feels. I run lone star +2 arms and a lone star axle and its about an inch wider in the front and handles awesome
  14. no you want the front wider then the rear it handles better
  15. just putting in my 2 cents I dont think penzoi platinum is designed for wet clutches i might be wrong. second milling the cases and just trying to vacuum the shavings is a big no no. third if you look at your clutch actuator lever (the arm that the cable pulls on the stator side) theres an arrow where it lines up your going to have to pull the clutch cover adjust it to that arrow then try it if its still not disengaging id say a new clutch.
  16. i know this because i recently just changed 1 caliper and tried everything else manual pumping, vacuum pumping, nothing worked and i compressed the pistons 2 times and had a rock solid lever
  17. im telling you 100 percent air is behind the piston of your new caliper and the bleeder screw is ABOVE it in the system it wont work conventional bleeding methods. do the method i showed you and you will be bled in 2 minutes, you can vac all you want theres going to be air behind the piston until you bleed it through the top.
  18. you need to make sure the cover on the master is open, and use a screwdriver and push in the pistons on the caliper youll see the air come out. then pump the lever and the pistons should come back out and repeat that process until its good. the bleeder valves are useless you need to bleed it in reverse out the master
