  1. Well i just got a banshee a few weeks ago and it was running perfect so me in my infinite wisdom decided to get rid of the stock air box in favor of k & n filters .Since installing them I have not been able to get the bike dialed back in it idles fine sounds good most of the issue is mid range and top end the plugs seem to have a good color after wot pulls I currently have t 6 pipes on a stock banshee with newly installed k & n filters and tors elim kit and as I said the thing hasnt run properly since installing the filters and was perfect prior to removing the stock air box . Has anyone else had similar issues I spent all gd day jetting and re jetting should just k & n filters being instlalled cause such major issues I wouldnt think so but havent been able to get it dialed back in

  7. Well just put the new Nerf bars on last night as I hear they are a good idea to have if you value your legs and feet .I bought what I think is a really nice set hell they almost look like wings haha meanwhile I put the carbs back on with the #280 jets and a new set of plugs looked it over really really good cleaned it up and am awaiting new jets both pilot and mains so I can get it dialed I dont even wanna try it again til I get the new jets cause I'll spend all gd day fuckin with it til its right once the jets get here I will do a plug chop with the 280 s then if the results are like before which I am pretty certain they will be . I am going to try 300s i will post the results on on another note what do you guys think about the vitos 4 degree key ??
  8. Damit ! I just got a Banshee recently it has T6 pipes on it they look awesome and the bike is currently stock I only have k & n s and t6 pipes so far but .I would venture to say they wont be on it for to long if its gonna limit getting the most gains out of it hahhahaha
  9. Sharp lookin man as far as the pipes being black mine are polished and I kinda wish they were black like yours I may actually have mine ceramic coated this winter as I like to be able to be as stealth as possible if I could only quiet it down lol f.. that
  10. TORS sys was the first thing to kick my ass then the sync tube between the carbs fell off when I pulled em haha got my ass kicked but yep the TORS is likely it !

  13. Thanks guys and yes I understand plug chop I have worked on outboard engines for 30 years now and love two stroke engines it needs more fuel I'm gonna try the 290s and see how it goes it was definitely not right with the 280 s once I put the k & n s on it .Glad to see a forum where people actually reply and post actively AWESOME !! also I found the section for jetting on the forum and its got good info on similar set ups .I am just a newb to the forum but you'll probably see me on here quite bit in the future
  14. Whats up everyone i am new to the forum just got a Banshee a month or so ago and absolutely fell in love with it .I need a little help or maybe a suggestion on jetting it can anyone here help me out of tell me where to look for the info .I have a stock engine ,stock reeds ,with Toomey T6 pipes and stock carbs .I am at "sea level " and was running the stock air box with the t6 pipes and dynojet # 280 jets in the mains and the needles are in the 4 th slot it was running perfect then I installed k & n air filters and took it for a short ride and well it didnt feel right so i went home and piulled the plugs yep lean lookin .Everyone says the 280 jets should be plenty but I thing it needs more fuel due to the way it drove and the way the plugs looked .It has good compression and like I said it was running perfect prior to the k & n filter install .Anyone else have a banshee with a similar or same set up at or near sea level as I will fiqure it out but it would be good to get some advice to save some time and headaches .I ordered 290 , 300 and 310 main jets as well as 27.5 and 30 pilot jets just so I have em .
